Twistedbranch threw up her mouthful of vole. "I don't feel well." She fretted. Weakly standing she looked at Phoenixstar. "What's happening?" She bent over and hacked, hoping more cats would join in.

Shadowpatch looked quickly at Phoenixstar. "Dad?" He asked. He hadn't eaten anything yet, do he didn't have to act sick. He raced to his fake father's side, watching in horror as he died.

[~Totally Insane~]

Bluetempest started to cough too. "I... Can't... Breathe!" he rasped.

Inktear got to his paws. "We have to get them back to camp!" he meowed so that the dying leader would hear.

Twistedbranch doubled over, pushing her muzzle into the dirt and clutching her belly. "Ah!" She yowled. "It hurts!"

"Don't eat." He told Inktear. "Get the others- I'll take Dad." He gently pulled Phoenixstar onto his back, setting off toward camp at a hurries pace, though not his top speed. His frustration and sense of betrayal was returning full force right then.

[~Totally Insane~]

Inktear stayed back with the other two. "We did it," he meowed, trying to hide the fear in his voice. He choked back the tears that tried to spill forth.

Bluetempest got to his paws, grinning a cruel grin. "Wonderfully executed," he meowed. "Let's head back to camp." he started staggering as they got closer to camp.

"I'll carry you in," Inktear offered.

Phoenixstar couldn't see, and the sounds were painfully loud.

Twistedbranch padded up to Inktear. "I want to talk with you later." She gave him a cute wink, and fell back. "Spottedmist." She commanded. "Carry me, please."

Spottedmist bowed his head. "Yes, Queen." He murmured, grabbing Twistedbranch by the scruff and dragging her along while she moaned in fake agony.

"Hold on, Dad." Shadowpatch meowed, trotting a bit faster, bursting into camp. "Somebody help!" He yowled, laying Phoenixstar down. He looked around- of course both medicine cats were out of camp, he thought with a mixture of emotions.

Tauntedwhisper raced forward. "What happened?!" he fretted.

Inktear shivered slightly. He supported Bluetempest as they hobbled into camp.

Wanting to make it as believable as possible, Bluetempest had swallowed a tiny bit of yarrow on the way, enough to make him throw up. As they entered camp, he collapsed, retching violently.

Twistedbranch did the same, but got a few mouthfuls of snow, to make it twice as bad. Spottedmist set her in the middle of camp. "T-The prey.....Poison..." She choked out quietly, body going limp and twitching. She yelled in pain.
