Spottedpaw frowned. "Hush!" He commanded with much more force then he intended.

She squeaked, curling into a ball in his mouth.

Spottedpaw purred. He padded into a large cave. In the middle of the cave was a beautiful rushing river. Mist flew onto his face, cooling him. He padded closer and closer until Lovekit was hanging over the fast-moving water. He closed his eyes, lowering his head a second.

"No! No! Please!" she cried.

Spottedpaw opened his eyes. He backed up, setting his sister safely on the ground. He snickered, murmuring, "Hehe, sorry! I Lost myself there for a moment!" He put himself between Lovekit and the mouth of the cave, knowing she would think about escaping. His gigantic figure blocked the entrance completely. "Sis, are you okay?"

"I.. I.. I thought you were going to kill me!" she cried. "I don't want to die at the paws of a loved one.."

Bluekit gave a wolfish grin. "Suits you," Bluekit agreed. Then he turned to the mother. "Wait and see. You might yet change your mind. Flashkit, teach her a lesson."

[k9inpants]

Spottedpaw gasped. "I would never hurt anyone! Especially my dear sister! I love you!" He moved closer to her, gently nuzzling and licking her. "Obviously we are on different sides..." He whispered, sadness dripping from his voice.

Twistedkit grinned. "Great training! Don't kill her though. As much as we all want that, we might loose Spottedpaw. Beat her to an inch of life!"

Brambleberry cringed. "Please, no! Don't hurt me!"

"I don't want them to hurt mommy.." she sobbed on his shoulder. "I don't want anyone to get hurt!"

Bluekit held up his tail. "Or, Brambleberry, you could swear loyalty to us and we'll make sure that no one touches you," he offered.
