Bluekit flicked his ears. "We haven't corrupted them," he meowed, sounding almost hurt. "We are just showing them another way, the right way." He let his voice morph into Bluestorm's. "I am the King of the Shadows," he meowed, a green fire igniting in his eyes. "And we're here to set things right."

Inkpaw nodded. "Interesting." He looked up at Eagleheart and asked, "Should we head back now?" It was starting to get dark and he was worried about what had happened with Twistedkit and Bluekit.

Dreamdust picked at her claws, boredness clawing at her.

Lovekit hissed, unlike her true kindness, "You are the wrong way!"

Flashkit rolled his eyes at Lovekit. "Then you are the corrupted one. Twistedkit and Bluekit want the best for the clan, and you can't see that. They were murdered out of cold blood," he meowed. He didn't want to fight because that would cause him to be held back from apprenticeship even longer.

Spottedpaw sighed. "I'll talk to her, King, Queen." He murmured, grabbing the kit tightly by the scruff and hoisting her out of their mother's lap. He padded out of then den, narrowly missing his mother's claws.

Brambleberry gasped as Spottedpaw ripped her kit away from her. "My kit! No!" She unsheathed her claws, swiping at her son. He's no son of mine! She though bitterly.

Twistedkit sneered. "Queen? I like that! Bluekit, what do you think?" She snickered, then became serious. "I think this mange-pelt just tried to hurt one of us. What do you say we teach her a lesson?"

"You touch my mother I'll kill you!' she spat. "And you.." she spat again at Flashkit.

Spottedpaw shook his head gently. "Hush, sister. Calm down. They won't harm my mother unless she harms me!" They exited the camp.
