Phoenixstar caught sight of Dreamdust. "Dreamdust," he called, beckoning her over with his tail.

Inkpaw nodded. "Wow! What sort of animal would dare cross our border?" he asked.

Stopped when they reached the border. "All right, let's see your general offensive crouch."

She padded over, "Yes sir?"

"Cats, if they had the guts, but we also get foxes, badgers, those sorts of creatures." Eagleheart explained. "Badgers and foxes can be taught to stay away, but sometimes- this is rare, though- if cats get together in a group, they might get jealous of our territory and attack us. It's happened before, and they were pretty stubborn about staying in, but we eventually beat them off and sent them on their way. That was before even I was born, though, so don't expect to hear a lot of battle stories!" he sighed happily. "Come on, there's still a lot of territory to see." he mewed, starting off along the border.

Bent down, to show the newly made apprentices the pose. She didn't know Dragonpaw had been training with Monsterclaw, and she said obvious things like, "Bend down," and, "keep your tail out for balance."

Shadowpaw had been trying to crouch in what he believed was a defensive position but wasn't really much at all. When Greycloud showed the position he copied her as best he could, rebalancing his weight and shifting his paws.

"Good, Shadowpaw. You'll be a warrior in no time!" She meowed.

Shadowpaw beamed, then looked over at Dragonpaw to see how she was doing.

Ravenpaw nodded eagerly and followed Shiningpool. The lithe shape of their bodies was identical, but was barely noticeable. She padded after the medicine cat, hoping to learn something new.

Flashkit wandered around. It wasn't fair! How come his littermates got to become apprentices but he didn't?!

Shiningpool went to the back of the den and pawed forward a few bundles of herbs and some of her cobwebs. She laid them out in front of Ravenpaw and sat down. Putting her paw by the cobwebs, she mewed "I think you know what these are, but for the sake of definite knowledge, what are these used for?" She wanted to see how much Ravenpaw knew so far, so she could figure out what she needed to teach her and what would be a boring and redundant lesson for her.
