Shadowpaw
Shadowpaw puffed up with pride, going to greet Greycloud happily.

Eagleheart
Eagleheart jumped, surprised at being appointed for mentorship. Smiling, he went to go touch noses with the newly named Inkpaw.

Shiningpool
Shiningpool padded forward, going to touch noses with her kit, purring proudly.

Bluekit nodded once in agreement. "Look at them. Poor idiots," he whispered into Twistedkit's ear.

Dragonkit stood on her back legs to try and touch noses with the deputy, but found that she was too small and Mistytail too big.

Inkpaw smiled up at his mentor, Eagleheart. "Wow!" he meowed excitedly. "I have the best mentor!"

Twistedkit leaned over to Inkpaw. "Let's talk." She whispered, waiting a second, then added, "A little birdy told me that I'm not going to be apprenticed for a while. I need somecat who can go outside." She stopped, hoping Inkpaw understood her.

Eagleheart
Eagleheart chuckled. "I'm glad you think so." he mewed. "Come on. There's still plenty of daylight- do you want to explore some of the territory today?" he hid his nervousness, trying to appear confident for his new apprentice.

Mistytail
"Oops," she mummured, and bent down to touch noses with Dragonpaw. "So, what would you like to do? Explore the territory, hunt, or battle train?" She asked, as she gestured with her tail for Graycloud and Shadowpaw to join her.

Graycloud
Noticed Mistytail waving her tail at her, "We better go see what she wants," she purred, and padded over.

Shadowpaw
Shadowpaw bounded happily after Greycloud, shifting to stand beside Dragonpaw as he looked up at his mentor and the deputy excitedly.

"Let's explore!" Inkpaw heard Twistedkit on his way to the camp entrance. He nodded and winked at the she-cat.

"I dunno. What do you want to do Shadowpaw?" Dragonpaw asked, turning to her brother.

Bluekit looked at Inkkit, unamused. "Think he understood?" he asked, looking over at Twistedkit.

Twistedkit scoffed again. "Doubt it. He isn't the smartest star in the sky." She spat the words 'star'.

"What's going on?" Graycloud asked Mistytail.
"I thought we could train our apprentices together."
Graycloud, nodded, and waited for Shadowpaw to answer. She was full of excitement that she had been chosen to mentor the leader's kit, but she kept it down. Only the glint in her eyes showed her emotions.
