Eaglepaw laughed. "If only these shadow things weren't terrifying." he muttered, then shook himself out, giving his chest a few licks before he re-entered camp.

Shiningpool mentally sighed with relief, both due to his compliance and the lack of blood. "With luck, you'll be sleeping in the warrior's den tonight. Just, if it happens again, come straight back and tell me." she said, relaxing her stance and returning to the back to finish sorting out the mess that she hadn't been able to completely fix earlier.

Twistedsecret looked up. I need to get out of camp! I have someone to talk to! "Shiningpool? I need to make dirt. Can I leave for three seconds?" He called.

She shook herself, "You have no idea." She smiled gently and flicked her tail towards to apprentice den. "Want to talk about all this?" she meowed.

Twistedsecret, without waiting for a response, got up and padded out of the den. "This can't wait. I need to speak with her now!" He looked around suspiciously, and padded quickly out of the camp.

[~Totally Insane~]

"Good night," Monsterclaw called the the apprentices and Crystalheart. Then he padded into the medicine cat den, hoping to see Shinningpool. He knew that he could never tell her about his feelings for her, after all she was a medicine cat!

"Come straight back!" she called to Twistedsecret, not getting up from her work. She was vaguely suspicious but it was unhealthy to deny that sort of urge. "Can I help you?" she asked, scenting another cat entering the den.

"In the den? I don't know, the walls aren't exactly soundproof, and it's not like we're the only apprentices around." he muttered. "We should probably save that sort of stuff for, you know, with Monsterclaw." he glanced around, for all the world trying to look unsuspicious. "I'm actually kinda hungry. Split a rabbit?" he asked, glancing at the kill pile.

Good going, Dreampaw! "C-course!" she mewed, scolding herself. "The idea was stupid anyway," she sighed.

Twistedsecret padded quickly through the forest, coughing and hacking along the way.

Eaglepaw shrugged, grabbing a fat-looking rabbit. "Not stupid. I luh to talk 'bout it, buh mayee not here." he mumbled around the rabbit as he brought it along to the den.

"Um... I was just wondering... If-if you needed any help cleaning up," Monsterclaw stammered. He quickly licked his chest fur in embarrassment. He tried to make himself seem as none threatening and nice as possible but it was hard for him to do. He and Shrikestorm weren't known for being friendly, approachable cats.
