Shadowclaw peeked inside the apprentices' den, seeing Redpaw curled up in his nest. "Redpaw?" He mewed softly, inspecting to see if the apprentice was awake.

The apprentice opened one eye which was now filled with rage,
"What!?!?" He screeched, his eyes lowering before exactly seeing who came into the den, with a shock of look on his face he shrank back in his nest,
"Im so sorry Shadowclaw, I didnt mean to yell at you." He meowed dipping his head, he never ever meant to yell at a warrior, they could tell the leader and then give him a bad reputation.

Shadowclaw pinned his ears in surprise, but slowly let them perk back up. "Oh, it's alright, Redpaw. Do you want to go out for some hunting?" He inquired, trying to sound as friendly as he could.

Redpaw perked his ears up, hunting with a warrior? Perfect way to get more known around the clan, puffing up his chest fur he mewed his reply,
"Sure thing!" He mewed confidently and trotted out the den as he passed Flowerpaw, he didnt even spare his maybe last glance at her.

Flowerpaw stared after her brother before sighing, why does a warrior whos not his mentor ask him and not her? Was she not good?
