Flight Again...(Guardians of Ga'Hoole Owl RP)

[Synamiic]

Echo:
I give a low hoot and hop closer to Oteti, with a worried expression. "We are only nomads. I murmur softly, hoping she wouldn't recognize either Oteti or Myself. I was cursed with the scar and the fact I was brothers with a guardian. "We meant no harm. We were flying through on our way to find somewhere else to roost for awhile." I explain and glance at Oteti.

Oteti swallowed. He hadn't wanted to lie and had avoided doing it himself... "We didn't know this was your territory, really... We didn't mean to trespass..." he hooted faintly, as if he was afraid, which he was, but he was expressing in in a different way. Oh, how he hoped they would take him prisoner, so that he could be on their side... and yet there were good owls, like Echo, on the other side... She would feel betrayed... He wasn't sure what to feel.

[Synamiic]

Echo:
I fall silent, feeling bad for having lied. But I didn't know what else to do to get her to let us go. I draw my wings to my sides and watch her carefully.

[*Frozen*]

"Go,quickly. Be glad you came on our territory. The pure ones would have killed you." Raven hooted, stepping back to let them leave the way they came.

Oteti lifted off with some effort, wincing, but he didn't look back as he went back the way he came, only checking that Echo was following him.

[Synamiic]

Echo:
I lift into the air, letting out a breath sigh of relief. I fly a little closer to Oteti. "How badly hurt is you wing?" I ask worriedly.

[*Frozen*]

Raven flew into the air, flying through the trees soundlessly, trailing them to make sure they didn't return unnoticed.

Oteti flicked his tail feathers in a kind of shrug. "I'm fine... It's not that bad. It's a shallow scratch, really," he insisted. It was long, but not too deep. He turned his head to look at it for a moment. It hurt more than he cared to admit, but it was just that- he wouldn't admit it. He looked back, seeing if Raven was giving chase, but saw nothing and heard nothing.

[Synamiic]

Echo:
I nod, even if I didn't believe him. "We should get back to the hollow. I don't want to leave Conin alone too long, and I really don't care for anything else the rest of the night." I mutter.

Oteti bobbed his head. "Agreed... Where else would we go, anyway?" he questioned, leaving it hanging. "Is that the hollow ahead...?"
