Runnning alongside him, Bouncepaw caught the scent of a mouse. She stopped and gazed around, she spotted the small brown prey scampering through the grain. Gotcha! she thought. Bouncepaw got into a hunting crouch, she padded slowly forward. Her breaths were silent as she stalked the mouse.

Falconpaw spotted a rabbit. Just what i need. He ran after it and leaped up, the rabbit just noticed when Falconpaw slammed down on it. He bit the rabbit and it went limp.

"Yep i did." Falconpaw meowed in pride. He stood up with it dangling from his jaw.

"I'll try to catch a few birds then." She trotted off to the forest. She climbed the nearest tree, letting her claws sink into the rough bark. Bouncepaw was at the top, she glanced around the canopy until she heard the rustling of bird's wings. "A whole nest!" she said to herself. Bouncepaw followed the noise to a nearby tree. She padded slowly forward; at the end of the branch she leapt over the gap. Onto the next tree. Bouncepaw saw the nest above her head. Little hatchlings squabbled above. She carefully batted at the nest till it came down. Looks like the mother abandoned them. Shrugging she carried them down to Falconpaw, still alive. "Look what I just found." She shook the nest slightly, causing the three hatchlings to squeak.
