Sky gave a measly flick of her ear, it was a Entei, younger, but not Thrall.
"What are you even-" she was interrupted when a flicker of white had swam by and had pounced onto the Entei. Her eyes widened and her ears flattened bacj against her head. She quickly sprung over and clamped her teeth around the Ninetale's tails,
"ICY STOP IT!" Sky screamed, through a muffle of fluffy blueish white fur, she wanted to know why Icy was acting like this. Even further, what did Melyss ever do?
"
"ICY, what happened?!" Sky yelped.

"MELYSS KILLED LANCE! THATS WHAT HAPPENED!" Valor screeched, even angrier than she normally was. "AND IF SHE IS WITH MELYSS, THEN SHE DESERVES WHATEVER HAPPENS TO HER!" She then took a deep, calming breath, extinguishing her blaze of rage and tried to cool down. "Sorry. Melyss is the leader of the rebels. She killed Lance." She tried to keep her voice even, but it took on a bitter and shakey edge.

(Valor doesn't want to start arguing with Icy during the battle ;P)

Icy suddenly felt teeth in her tail and let the hyper beam go narrowly missing the entei ' s head as she whipped around only to see sky. With her black eyes trained on her she growled low in the chest and started to pace closer and closer backing sky off into a corner. "Their mother..." she growled out nodding to akino and his brother. "Killed lance..she was the one who knocked him into that volcano and she was behind all of this." She said as her muzzle was now dangerously close to sky, flames erupting through the sides of her mouth as she was just itching to use flamethrower. "Not only that but thrall is also against us, he was from the beginning and I'm pretty sure that he has probably sabotaged the other group, or they could very well be dead by now So I'm pretty sure this entei is up to no good as well... " she said before her attention turned back to the younger entei them her body started to coil up as she started to prepare to attack the pokemon.

SUPER LONG POST COMENSE

The young female entei gave out a roar as she was tackled and pinned by Icy, jaws gapped open and a hyperbeam being developed between her teeth. Despite the situation she spoke with amazing clarity and even regal annoyance "How-DARE you strike down royalty you insignificant newt!" She would have fired her own attack if it was not for Sky making Icy get off of her and direct the hyperbeam away from her face. She recovered and got into a defensive stance, listening to their conversation quietly, eyes widening at the mention of Lance and she pursed her lips and closed her eyes, quickly deciding to reopen them, knowing that there was a crazed lunatic trying to end her life in front of her. She gave an amused grin at Icy who held an inferno of flames in her jaws, only speaking smoothly, yet preparing to counter her if tackled once more. "How unorthodox of a princess to be acting so out of line, I would have expect someone would have taught you manners in meeting other Pokemon ."

Akino seemed to hold little shock in his mother being the one to kill Lance since he was told be her in person unknown by the others, he actually held no fear, or anger in his tone while Rovon was shuttering, the dread of betrayal drifting from his pores, eyes of red completely drained of vivid light. Akino kept a close eye on the entei, keeping an eye on her body posture, noticing her tense up slightly at the mention of his mother and departed friend. His gaze shifted to Icy, knowing she was a ticking time bomb ,so he quickly intervened. "Melyss. You know my mother don't you....and-" he was cut off by the Young entei raising a brow "Queen Melyss never had any children, they are all dead anyway, they- " she showed the first sign of unregal posture and surprise the whole argument and she whispered "Akino? You're alive?" Disbelief lingered with her tone, recognizing him as if from another time and she grinned a smile of both happiness and despair. "Akino she was trying to kill you and Icy...Not Lance... He saved you're life... Both of you" she spoke directed at Icy then back to Akino. She glanced around hesitantly before murmuring something under her breath before dropped from her eyes "Finally...for once I have the comfort of hope...so long has it been since I felt it caress my being on this mortal plane..." Akino's eyes widened at this news... How did she know this? Was she there during the fight, but even then he did not understand... Why would his mother try to kill him? I though she-? The entei lifted a hefty paw to wipe her tears and offered a smile to them "I'm Lucina, I will explain what I am allowed to right now, but please follow me, just know that I'm a friend..." She turned and began trotting off down the hall, not looking back to see if they followed. Akino for one did not hesitate even for a moment "I don't know about you guys, but I want some answers..." He growled and followed behind her, Rovon standing frozen for sometime before he finally seemed to thaw and he stumbled forward, nearly collapsing.

Leoniddas stared at Melyss, regaining his composure and he snarled "So what were we. Was a just another pawn in your game of chess? Is this all just a game to you, your citizens,...your sons?" He snarled, approaching her angrily, yet stopping short as the ceiling seemed to shift as all those above reached for their weapons. Melyss grinned "Oh my little Leon, my expectations exceed far beyond your imagination. I have far more plans than you give me credit for. I intend to be this kingdoms personal and only ruler..." She turned suddenly and called into the darkness "Thrall. To me." Slowly and reluctantly, the mass stumbled from the shroud of darkness, at stood in front of Meylss, eyes now a faint purple. "Grovel" she hissed, voice like venom and the legendaries knees slowly buckled ,but he did not fall, attempting to stand once more. "FALL", she ordered with a roar and kicked him in his lowered head before the entei put his body on the ground and squirmed at her feet submissively.

Acacia's wings lifted to his mouth in disbelief, tears forming in his eyes, whispering in despair "Thrall..noooo..." He has seen this all before. Those purple eyes, staggering movement, and that- oh please no... He read about it, and the funk seeping from his mouth now assured his thoughts were correct. Lance nearly died because of that. Mind control. Thrall was being controlled by Melyss. "Cute little trick huh? I suppose Leviathan was not completely useless in his practices" Melyss grinned, before frowning, "Sadly. His mind is stronger than I expected, even as a protector, he will not tell me the phrase... No matter HOW-" she gave a blunt kick to his head "Much I tell him" Her gaze slowly swept them all and stared at her husband "You could not read that phrase either huh...." She paced before looking at the remains of the door. "You are aware it was a pull door correct? A waste to such ancient runes..." Leoniddas worked his jaw angrily before growling "Quit dragging this on, you know you must best me in a fight to claim the throne...no interference from either side..." Melyss grinned and responded "I'm more worried about your followers to disobey, none of mine would dare..."

Royce lead the group of his through the hall which led to a large circular room with a pile of rubble at the base of a ruined door. Royce tilted his head and quickly made his way up the pile to look down the Melyss and the others, his tail wagging at the sight of the others and his mother. "Mom! You are oka-" A beam of ice fired down at his feet freezing them to the ground. He looked down at surprise as Melyss gave the order to do so.

"Bu-but... but why would yo-" Crystal couldn't help but stuttered for a moment before the unexpected happened. Thrall appearing from the shadows. Taking orders from the now power hungry queen. Crystal's eyes widened in disbelief. How? How was she able to do that? How was she able to control the mind of a legendary like Thrall himself? These questions swimming through Crystal's mind. It's shocking and confused at the same time. Obviously, for the king to stand up to Melyss, who has a lot more potential than Leon himself. "Oh if I'm able to find out me and Acacia can get the mega stone to activate, maybe we can turn the tide of battle." She murmured, placing a paw on the colored stone.
As Geno followed Royce and Skyrin from behind, keeping watch from behind, in case and intruders try to sneak from behind, the finally reached towards a ruined door. He then trudged his way through the pile of rubble, until they finally saw the gang face to face with the queen themselves, and Thrall as well. Geno narrowed his eyes into daggers, hopefully to take down for the traitor he is. Ice was fired at his feet , preventing him from doing what he was attempting to do. His gaze flashed down at his frozen feet before pointing it back at Thrall again. Something doesn't seem right... he then took a closer look at the dog, Thrall's eyes a shade of... purple? Could this mean something? No matter now. Geno gaze pointed down at the ice trap. His fists curled and began to glow a faint orange color. He then slammed his fist down at his feet, cracking the ice freeing him. He then looked doen at Royce and Skyrin trapped feet, smashing away the ice from their feet, freeing them as well. "There that should do it," he nodded his head in satisfaction. He then casted a blank gaze at the Luxray. Obviously, this is going to turn into an epic matchup against rebels of the kingdom.

Sky stared, her eyes wide. She picked to not say a word. Not a single word. She only stared, choosing to follow after Lucina. Her blue eyes only holding one emotion, curiousty. Just curiosity.

Skyrin trekked after Royce and Geno, staring at the remains of the shattered door. He shrugged, continuing in after the other two. He halted when they were reunited with the first group. Lucky them, but where was Sky, Valor and the others? The thought of them not arriving unerved him deeply. He only took a split second to look down at his paws, slightly annoyed with his frozen paws and was about to unfreeze them with one well aim of a Shadow Ball. But, Geno had done the honors. He nodded his thanks and turned his head to the Luxray. His eyes flickered up to the roof, spying the many pokemon that were located upon it. Obviously, if Thrall, was for some reason bowing to the Queen, then obviously. Something was going up. Yet he only kept silent.

The look of slight shock caught in the fennec fox's eyes when Thrall had came from the shadows. Wait, how did he even get there before his own group even did? Yet, the real question, that something was obviously wrong with him. That sludgeish stuff coming from his mouth, and the fact that his eyes were faintly purple. Lets not forget that when Melyss had commanded him to grovel, he was struggling to not do so. Then, it all suddenly make sense to her the moment Melyss spoke her first words. Mind control of course. Though he still seemed slightly, just even a sliver, still himself. He still had some sort of control, if even a small glimmer. Yet, the cause for it all... Melyss. The goal was for that Luxray to be stopped. Yet no one was to go rushing, or any of those pokemon on the roof would rain in right on them, and no doubt that they were well trained.

"How dare you allow yourself to be struck down in the first place and your title doesn't have anything to do with it. It doesn't matter whether you are royalty or not because you are just another pokemon like the rest of us so excuse me if I forgot to practice my curtsy for you." Icy said with a sliver of venom laced in her voice. She had further held her tongue as she just simply listened to what all the entei had to say and her face stayed passive as she said that melyss had originally planned to kill her but what shocked her was that she wanted to kill akino as well. Why would she want to kill her own son? Icy asked herself as her blue eyes came to a surface for a fee seconds before they were swallowed in black once more. Well it doesn't matter now... we are both alive and lance isnt... she sighed and tears threatened to fall from her seemingly emotionless eyes but shook her head to clear them as tears never made anything better. With Lucina clarifying that she was a friend icy dropped her suspicions about her for the time being and reigned her rampant emotions in for the time being and followed behind them her head hanging low in silence.

Aerix looked on in silence as melyss went on and called thrall to her and a shocked expression crossed his face as he realized that she was using the same tricks leviathan did to control lance and growled lowly knowing the full consequences of long term use. "Well maybe we just wanted a more dramatic entrance...there's no telling if we knew what the phrase was or not." he muttered under his breath feeling just a tiny bit stupid at the fact that it was a pull door. "You don't have to worry about his followers at all because he will at least have us to back him up and we would never turn against him shamefully like you did. But anyways what good will a phrase do exactly? After all this is the part where you foolishly tell us all your plans before your utter demise." He said smirking and noticing that the second group had appeared and now they only had to wait for akinos group but still they would still be at a great disadvantage. The best thing for them right now is to stall until everyone arrived and then decide on a plan of action together.

Lucina's eye twitched as Icy said what she did and she could not stifle her laughter. "How dare I get attacked? What kind or argument is that? At least I had no intentions to kill unlike some savage brute..." She gave a short smirk, casting a glance behind her to Icy, as if coaxing the princess for another throw down. Akino gave a gruff snort at Lunina who got back in line surprisingly quickly and even gave a regretted murmur of apology to Icy and him. She really seemed willing to what Akino said and possibly... Scared? The entei continued walking and she paused and looked both ways of an intersection before heading left and saying. "I heard what you were saying about Thrall... He is a very good Pokemon... I need to tell you something...He...you see.. It happened like..." She spoke with many openings yet could not decide on a single one before she said bluntly " He is not a traitor...he is being controlled the same way Lance was. I read about it in the history books of Soteria about what happened to him, sad to see where he is at now..." Her voice sounded grave before she leveled her voice and continued "That is who ai got this" she dug out a necklace buried in her chest fur, a long vial filled with shimmering blue liquid connected "Thrall is being controlled by Melyss for the intention to get him to open the gate. The phrase being spoke of is the key to opening the gate but it can only be said by royalty... It's a single word and pronounced so weird you would have to her an ancient say it before you can even try to mimic it... An ancient language lost for decades..." She trailed off " She believes Thrall is the only one who knows it... He is rather old, the oldest of the guardians. He is 245 last time I recall from the records, Miya being 168 and yomi 90 years." Akino raised an eyebrow "Yomi can not be that old. The last raikou died when Leviathan was a child and since Leviathan died around his 50's that makes it impossible for yomi that old." Akino went over some mad calculations in his head before looking at Lucina as if waiting for her retort but she gave an embarrassed chuckle and responded " Sorry, you are right Akino, I was thinking of the wrong time peri-"

The ground shook violently at their paws as a massive hyper beam collided with another, the pure strength between the two sending massive tremors through the underground temple until each side abated the attack. The duel was happening. Melyss versus Leoniddas. He discarded his armor behind him, not wanting it to conduct the electricity he fires at her. The seemed to be doing a mad dance around each other, they both read each other's moves well, a tiny shift of a paw indicated a certain move in their eyes and adjusted accordingly to defend or counter it. After a bit they clashed, Meylss taking her claws across his face and Leon digging his fangs into her shoulder, each drawing blood. They kicked and flailed and blocked so quickly, it all seemed like a blur before Melyss managed to squeeze in a discharge and send the King flying. He landed of course, squinting as the blood from the wound on his face seeping into his eyes and distorting his vision while Melyss favored her right leg rather than the one that was bitten into. Not many moments later, they shot back at each other. Beany sat quietly and watched, giving hesitant glances at the gate and then to the entrance where the others watched in horror.
