Geno's face froze once Skyrin's tapped on the wrong tile. "YOU BUMBLING IDIOT WHAT DI-" before he could finish, Skyrin had the nerve to throw himself on his back. Before Geno had the chance to throw him off, he saw the tiles underneath him turned black and began to fall apart. He ignored the fact that Skyrin was on his back and leaped off as soon as the tile underneath him fell. The ninja was only was barely an inch from the ledge and experienced something he couldn't believe. His face lit with horror before gravity take it place and Geno along with Skyrin, fell into the abyss.
Crystal was flung from Aerix, tumbling on the ground and skidded on her back to a stop. She slowly got up and saw Aerix on the ground, paralyzed. "Oh noo... AERIX!" She screamed. She rushed over to the dog and and bend down. "Luckily, I've come prepared." She murmured. She dug into her satchel and took out a small vial. "Here take this... it will help with the paralysis." She spoke as she poured the powder down his throat. "It might taste bitter." She added.

Valor sighed, regaining her breath. She stared back at the closed walls, sealed tightly shut, and shuddered inwardly at what could've happened to the team. We could've been crushed, never to be found again, lost in history as pile of dust and powder.. But determination glowed in her pale blue eyes as she looked ahead, perfectly ready to face the next trap. But if we survived that, then we can surely avenge Lance. She hefted her lance. "I'm ready when you guys are!" Being crushed would go quick, but falling down into an abyss of lava and fire wouldn't. We had a near death experience. Lance had a death experience. He faced so much more than us... which makes it even more important for me- for us- to avenge him. We're coming for you. Be ready.

Thrall was the last thing the group saw as they fell, silently watching them fall into the abyss. It began to slowly shift into a slide like tunnel, their bodies tumbling along. An opening came into view which led into a circular room with a large granite door with obsidian handles along with another path. Royce laid sprawled out clumsily in the center of the room, the hole at the top just spitting out the pokemon from its depths and on top of the canine. Royce growled as Skyrin collided with his head as the last pokemon out and lifted himself to his paws "That- THAT TRAITOR!" Royce roared, pacing at the mouth of the hole "I can't believe it, he is with the others who are fighting to be against us!"

Akino gulped in some final breaths before looking around. One path once again, but this one seemed to be more illuminated "At least we got a lucky brea-" he froze as faint voices followed "They are inside the temple as planned, now we can start the second operation" Akino tried to adjust his ears to hear better but they were to far off, all he knew was that his voice was deep, or maybe it was not, he was to far away to tell. "You guys hear that?" he murmured, keeping his voice low and for a hushed whisper from his brother "Yeah...It sounds familiar..." Though Akino would not mention that Rovon's hearing was better than his own, he agreed and motioned the others to follow. "Come on" he whispered

Leon broke through the thin wall with wild charge, avoiding the relentless fire of the darts. He was of course fine, but knew the others were not as fine as he was "Come on! Let us recover in here!" Acacia fluttered in, unscathed by the onslaught and delightedly flew to the ground "We did it! we made it!...At least I think we did..." He commented, directing them to look at the giant doors before them. They were crafted from white granite, with runes and markings all over it, possibly a language forgotten through the ages...

Valor frowned and nodded as she followed Akino. "I'll tail." She fell into the back, muscles tensed. She was ready to slash with her lance at any moment. As they continued walking, she shivered- the sooner they got out, the better. The walls were too close, the ceiling too low, the light too lacking in her taste. She didn't have much room to fly if needed. And the trap... she could still easily imagine them closing in on her, crushing her, locking her for eternity in the darkness and depths... She shrugged it off and continued forwards, her blood boiling in her veins. "Lend me your abilities, Lance, the abilities I lack..." She thought back to that dinner at Jace's academy. They'd been strategizing for the battle, and they had fought a little over what she lacked that didn't make her a good leader. She'd been younger and foolish then, but now, she knew that he was right. "Lance... If you can hear me right now..."

leaned her head to the side slightly, letting out her last few heavy breaths, then breathed in. She turned her head to Akino, flicking a ear in curiousty,
"Ah.... something?" She murmured lowly and as quiet, enough for everyone close to hear, but not aloud. She pricked her ears, only catching the last few words. Honestly it did sound familar. Was it? It couldnt be.... she lowered her eyes into slits as she looked to the illuminated path, and trailed after everyone into it.

Skyrin yelped happily, being dragged down by gravity along with Geno, only for it to be some sort of slide, his eyes widened for a second as his happy yelps turned into absolutely terrified yelps. When said trap ended, and he accidently collided with Royce's head, he hung his head for a moment, pushing himself up and stumbled to the side, holding his head up, he looked around, his pink eyes filling with interest, but no glasses to wear.
"Seems interesting, but who is a traitor? Thrall?" Skyrin murmured, tilting his head and plopping down.

Viviane quickly turned her attention to where Leon had broke through a wall and quickly followed after Acacia, looking back and ducking, a dart lodging into her earfluff, luckily, no skin to pierced. She skidded into the hole in the wall with Acacia, and tilted her head, looking to the door as she reached up and pulled the dart from her fluff and dropped it onto the floor.
"Welp. We arent done yet Acacia." She mumbled, taking a breaths to regain her breathing.

Geno began to tumble as his body began to slide down a hidden tunnel in the abyss. He was shot out of the opening and landed beside the Manetric. He stood up, rubbing his head with a webbed hand before turning back to the opening with narrowed eyes. Not to pay any attention to Skyrin landing on Royce. Geno's gaze turn back to Royce, who was now ranting. "Calm down. Right now is not the time to rage. We need to find the others and warn them. Who knows what Thrall would do to them." Geno scanned the area, trying to look for a way out. He spotted a path, staring at it before continuing to roll his gaze, until his gaze landed upon a particular door. He started towards the door and began to inspect it, placing a hand on the handle.
Crystal began to led Aerix to the opening that Leon had created. "Come now Aerix. Lie here so your body can recover." She spoke softly, still feeling guilty that she put everyone's lives in danger. "I'm so sorry everyone, if I had look where I was going, no of this would have happened." She hung her head down in shame.

Icy's eyed narrowed as she heard voices ahead of them and walked lightly so that her paw steps wouldn't be heard nor the armor she had on. "Should we ambush them? Who ever it is?" Icy whispered as she followed akino and shadowy figures started to appear in the distance unless the lights were playing tricks on her. "We really don't have many places so hide unless you can suddenly do some camouflage. " she whispered as a bad feeling went through her. After all was it really a good thing that the voice sounded familiar to them? It could be the traitor they were looking for or even their lost mother since only their group went down that tunnel.

Aerix laid their helplessly as crystal put the fowl power down his throat making him immediately regain power over his limbs slowly and stood up coughing. "Great Arceus that tasted awful!" He explained as he took out a fresh water he had stashed way and drunk it to help get rid of he taste. "Do I need to continue to carry you or can you just walk and not set off a trap this time? " He said smirking before nudging her to show that at least he had forgiven her. "Thanks for the paralyze heal though cupcake. If this wasn't a life or death situation I would have payed you back thoroughly by now." He said his playful attitude returning for just a moment before he became serious again as he looked to the doors ahead of them."So does anyone have any idea of what this could possibly mean? I'm not fluent in old languages.. "

Akino flicked his ears to Icy to indicate he heard before whispering back "That may be best, we may not get an upperhand like this again..." As he looked on, one of the figures was much larger than the other, the smaller one garbed in a black cloak that dusted the floor in its long length and speaking far to faintly for the others to catch words or even a tone of voice. The large figure stepped from the view of the tunnel, the smaller one left behind and it slowly turned to look down their tunnel, eyes seeming to glow faintly. Akino froze. It was staring right at them, the path was two narrow and it looked so fast they had no chance to hide. Akino waited for it to do something and it did...it stepped out of view and silence followed. Akino simply stared as if trying to figure something out before, Rovon shoved past him and ran down the hall and into the opening before skidding to a halt and remaining still in awe. Akino ran to where his brother was and looked around wide eyed. The center of the room held an elevated pool of light blue water, unknown light dancing off the surface. The edges were enscribed with ancient writing that seemed like gibberish to those who did not speak it. Akino glanced around and noticed both figures were gone, but there seemed to be no way out other than the way they came in...

Leon looked at Crystal and aerix with a short snort before looking to the door "me and my sons are linguists, we have studied these symbols and texts seemingly long forgotten through the ages..." And when he said sons, he did not include Akino of course. He approached the door and studied the words quietly before translating slowly "Gateway to...Fate?" He murmured with a raised eyebrow before reading on "Destiny and fate can be altered by an utterance of a phrase..." He did not read said phrase but looked at the others, "Help me get this door open..."

Royce knew that Geno was right,but this is the first time he lost his cool since a long while "This is absolutely astonishing! He can believe we are going through here to get peace, and our main hope is a traitor!" He cursed and flipped out some more which many would say is unbecoming of a prince. He paced around the room before halting in the decent sized granite door. He lifted a paw on it beforedrawing it back, as if he touched the edge of a hot pan. "Huh?..."

Geno immediately shot his hand from the handle, letting out a 'ack' sound as he felt the heat singed his hand. He flicked his hand to relieve some of the pain before inspecting his hand to make sure no damage was done. "It's hot..." he murmured. "But that's not gonna stop me from getting this door open." Geno s hand began to engulf with water before the liquid was shaped into two shurikens. He fired off the shurikens to cool off the door. "I think that should do it." He nodded his head in satisfaction before placing a hand on the door handle again.
Crystal scratched the back of her head nervously. "Well what can I say? I'm a nurse for a reason. There's no need for repayment if you had already saved my life." She turned her attention to Leon as he read the foreign text. Gateway to Fate? Utterance of a phrase? What does that even mean?! What type of phrase is supposed to be spoken? She nodded her head to come and assist to opening the door.

The large doors shifted open very slowly due to its weight and with that a billowing sheet of heat and light ash. Royce coughed hard and faced away and when he turned back there was nothing but lava and darkness from above. Royce stepped back and looked out through the ocean of lava and saw literally nothing but lava, that and a few very small rocks on the surface of the said molten lake. Royce stared out, beginning to sweat and his fur began to singe on the ends, the air beginning to burn him. "Get back he murmured, stepping away from the lake and staring to close the door
