Foxflame crawled out of the warriors' den. He still felt bad about the day before. He knew he had done the right thing by not attacking the Echoclan apprentice, but it seemed Moonstar had only heard Jay's wing scolding him, and not the whole story. Moonstar is fair, Foxflame thought. She'll listen to me. He stood up and thought about hunting, but decided he had better stay in camp until he had spoken to Moonstar. He wondered if the she-cat had made it back to her camp safely. I wonder what her name is...

Jay's Wing let out a moan; he hadn't gotten any sleep. All he could think about was Frostpaw.. her glowing face, her beautiful eyes.. He tipped his head as if letting the bees out of his head. Giving a sigh, he got up and began to stir around the apprentice den, questions poked at his mind repeatedly. Is she thinking about me? Will she actually come meet me before the gathering?
