Snowfire turned his attention to Icepaw and said, "Nothing's wrong, we just need to patrol often to make sure the other clans are stealing prey or anything." He purred softly then turned to Shinepelt, "Okay, let's talk to Cloudstar together then,"

They walked in quietly. "CloudStar we are ready to lead the patrol!" he said loudly and proud. He waited for a response quietly.

SilverSong leaped on a magpie walking on the ground. She felt playful. So she leaped on SunClaw and rolled him down the hillside.

Sunclaw laughed. "Why did you do that?" he asked her, heaving himself to his paws and shaking loose dirt and leaves from his pelt. A leaf from his pelt landed on Silversong's nose.

"Off we go" he said and lead IcePaw out of camp.

"I-I don't know! I feel awfully playful today!" she laughed shaking the leaf off her nose.

RussetCloud yawned and dreamed of Snowfire and starclan.

Cloudstar looked up at Shinepelt, her blue eyes glittering. The worryfull she-cat looked laid-back and happy for once. "Great! Don't take all the apprentices. Take Icepaw and Snowfire, Mistpaw, obviously..Maybe Sunclaw and Silversong when they get back, and Teardrop, of course. That should be enough. Take extra care on the Willowclan border, if you will." She dipped her head to Shinepelt then went to mutter something in Snowfox's ear.

Snowfox nodded to his leader, purring, then walked outside. "Well, Icepaw, it looks like we're going on a patrol." He mewed, pricking his ears foward. "Have you met any of the other apprentices yet?"

Mistpaw padded up behind Shinepelt, trembling with excitement for her first venture outside the camp. She bounced over to Icepaw and blinked politely. "Hi" she meowed "I'm Mistpaw!"

Icepaw jumped back a little and trunded to his mentor"I guess i just met one."then back to Mistypaw and said"Hi?I'm Icepaw..."
