Sunclaw thought about her question for a minute. "When I got my first apprentice, I was scared out of my pelt. I was scared I would mess up and turn her into a lazy apprentice or maybe turn her into a killer. I eventually got the hang of it by doing stuff she liked to do but then adding in the stuff she didn't like to do in about equal amounts." he said. "If you need help, just ask. Your learning something new and it will get easier." He flicked her ears with his tail, trying to brighten her up.

[Lauraine]

He bowed his head in friendliness and loyalty. "Yes, I wanted to know if you wanted me to take some of the apprentices out for some hunting patrols?" he asked eying her carefully. His tail shaked uncomfortably.


RussetCloud moaned loud enough for TearDrop to hear. Her moan was a scratchy tone. She flicked her tail with annoyance.

SilverSong was sad. She looked up and decided to go find him. She sniffed his soft warm scent and breathed it in. She followed the scent and she bumped into him. "HI.." she mewed not looking into his eyes.

Sunclaw turned his head to see Silversong. "Oh...er...Hi Silversong," he stammered, not expecting to see her there. He felt a little awkward around her but He was generally that way when a cat surprised him.

[Lauraine]

"Sorry.....If I interupted you...duties" she stammed shuffling her paws nervously. She felt her heart sink at the thought of him ordering her to leave immediatly. Then, after the thought her eyes grew wide and huge as blue as the sky.

"It's okay." said Sunclaw, quickly, getting over the shock of being bumped into. "I was just trying to help Teardrop, that's all." He noticed Silversong shuffling her paws. He didn't know what he had done to cause her to do that. So far he had always thought of her as an equal or better.

Teardrop looked at Silversong then Sunclaw, "Okay, Sunclaw, thanks alot." She said quietly. Though, the presence of the new she-cat didn't make her leave, she just sat down and curled her tail around her paws. She almost rolled her eyes at how Silversong was acting around Sunclaw. He was just another cat, whether he was deputy or not.

Snowfox flicked Icepaw with his tail. "Hey, maybe you should go get some rest. We've got a big day tomorrow." He purred softly and glanced around to see where Cloudstar was. His gaze settled on her for a moment before drifting back to his apprentice.

Cloudstar's eyes widened slightly. She reconized the warrior's good intentions but she said, "Well, not in the middle of the night. How about tomorrow at sunhigh? That should give the mentors some time to train their apprentices too." She nodded, as if she was agreeing with herself. "Is that okay with you?"

[Lauraine]

"Well....AGain I'm sorry if I disturbed you..I guess I had nothing better to do" she said looking at him. Her tail began swishing uncomfortably. She new she had to go before she blew up. She gets too nervous around him.

RussetCloud padded out of her den very sadly. Her tail dragging against the harsh-floor. She grieved.

ShinePelt nodded his head "Of course, CloudStar" he padded off, without another word. He noticed TearDrop, "Is RussetCloud okay?" he asked her.

Sunclaw nodded at Teardrop. "No problem," he meawed, happy to be able to help her once. She seemed to be a confident young cat and he was kinda happy that she knew what she was doing. He turned his attention back to Silversong. "That's fine. I don't have much else to do either." he said, quitely.
