He casted the spell, giving her eternal life, but, among other side effects, it made her appearance like that of a raven. No matter how much ponies told her that she still looked like a Pegasus, all she saw in the mirror was the animal she feared most. Her mother cast her out and she went to my mother. She was given her own kingdom, under Equestria. She took up the name Raven Blaze and brought some others with her. For thousand of years, they've existed as Moonless Night, free from the troubles of Equestria, and forgotten by us."
"How does this affect us?"
"It doesn't. Yet. I fear that Raven Blaze will make a move soon."

Being forgotten hurts. How do you think Luna felt when she returned and everyone had forgotten her, or thought that she was just a myth? Also, being forgotten is a lot like death in its own way. To much like death for her liking."

Only three ponies know about the land underneath Equestria, but news is getting out, ponies are being taken, and shadows are getting deeper. Ponies are getting scared, for a good reason, but can anyone trust the ground under their feet anymore, and if they can't then what happens?
On the other side of things, though, The ponies living in Moonless Night are split on this whole war idea. This is resulting in violence.
