Cheetahpaw looks up the rabbit. "Sure.", he mummers.

SpeckClaw stopped by the river."Its fine.He looked at Amethyst."You can wash the soot off."

Midnightpaw nodded

"Thank you.." Amethyst mews as she pads into the river. When she is finally in a shallow part, the shecat ducks her head under. She cleans her paws and pelt, letting the gritty black soot flow off of her. She emerges soaking in water, Amethyst shakes her pelt, letting it go fluffy and ruffled.

SpeckClaw smiled."You look better now."

Dewpaw smiled and sniffed the air. She smelled a mouse. The apprentice started stalking it, and saw a whole family of mice gathering berries for the harsh leafbare that was coming. She let them eat the berries, then pounced on the largest one. The others scurried away. But Dewpaw had already killed the mouse and went after another, killing it. She kicked up dust at the other fleeing mice, then swiftly killed them. "I killed a family of mice!" Dewpaw said.

Amethyst smiles, "Where did you come from, did you have housefolk too?"
