Thunderstar snorted and cuffed his ear gently. He finished his part of the sparrow and stood up. "Its time" he murmurs, looking at the sunsetting.

Shadefur quickly ate his share and stood up. He walked out of the den, his tail did a friendly flick towards the couple as he left into the clearing.

He lept onto the stump. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around for a clan meeting" he called, flicking his tail vigoriously. "I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of Oakclan is Shadefur" he mewed proudly.
