Eclipse slowly opened her eyes, mesmorized by the harmony of the birds and the rushing water. The rushing water.Cedar's water. She shook her head and turned it slightly, her eyes not fully open. She spoke slowly and very. Very. Darkly. Her voice rough and pitch black, "Emberfade."

EmberFade jumped in surprise, fur bristling. "Hello Eclipse." She said trying to smooth down her fur.

EmberFade took in all the sounds of the birds and the ripple of the river close by. She took in the sights of the forest, the sun beaming through he gaps in the canopy, and the smells of the prey around them and the scent of the slight breeze that carried the scent of flowers she didnt know the name of..

AshWhisker smiled, "WhiskerNose seemed pretty pent up on the way back though. It was strange..."

Birchfall padded by her.

The rouge looked through the bushes and saw his son and a Shecat.

"Me either." AshWhisker said honestly, "She was really tense and wary." She shrugged, "it was just strange." She grinned.

EmberFade gasped as she saw the eyes in the bushes.

She stood up tall, very tall. Eclipse was a very lean cat, her short fur tight to her body. When she spoke, it was like an oil spill leaking out, pronouncing evrey. single. sylable. "Emberfade."

EmberFade felt like shrinking to the ground but stood up tall, "Yes?" She asked surprised her voice didnt waver.

AshWhisker finished off the mouse and licked the red stain off her lips. "So, how's life?" She asked sitting back, relaxed.
