Jackdawstar watched from further away and then padded up to them. "Mosspaw, after you are finished with Skypool, treat Meadowbreeze. I lost a life, but I'm alright. That's all the wounded,"

"I'm fine," Skypool insisted, almost hissing.

Mosspaw dipped her head to him. "Yes, Jackdawstar." She whipped around to face Skypool, a sharp look in her eyes. "No, you're not! Now stop being so stubborn and let me treat you!"

"Ill be as stubborn as I please," Skypool replied, stalking away.

Mosspaw followed her. "Stop! I'm the medicine cat; you have to listen to me!" Her voice cracked at the end. She was near tears after all that had happened.
