All of my cats except for Troutstream are open.)

[Cradily]

"Uh-huh." Curlpaw was swaying slightly on her paws. "I'm..." A yawn interrupted her. "...fine."

[C a s]

"Then pick up your paws!" Troutstream continued on until they stood at the riverbank. "Ready for a swim?"

[Cradily]

Curlpaw shook her head to clear it. "A what?"

[C a s]

Troutstream flicked her tail in annoyance. "A swim."

[Cradily]

"Oh." Curlpaw looked down at the water. "But I can't swi..." She yawned again. "...im."

[C a s]

"You'll learn," Troutstream replied. "It's in your blood." She began to wade into the water.

[Cradily]

Curlpaw placed one tentative paw into the water, then recoiled. "It's cold!"

[C a s]

Troutstream smiled slightly. "Yes it is." She went farther, her paws lifting so she was paddling around.

[Cradily]

Curlpaw splashed in after her. She struggled to keep her head above water. "I--" She was cut off by a yawn, and at that very moment, she lost her composure and went under. Water flooded her mouth when she yawned and she quickly resurfaced, coughing and sputtering. "I wanna go hoooome!" the apprentice wailed as she dragged herself to shore.
