"Come on, to the stream!" Troutstream seemed happy and cheerful again.

Curlpaw yawned as she plodded after her. "Coming..."

Troutstream continued on a a fair pace.

Curlpaw lagged behind as she followed her mentor.

Troutstream stopped. "Are you feeling well?"

Dipping his head to Hollowglight, "Thank you for my first tour of the territory. Although I became closer to the river than I wanted..." He chuckled, smiling. He grabbed a trout and dragged it over to the Elder's den, before doing the same except bringing it to his mother. "Here mom...enjoy"

"You eat it young one, you need it more then me." Duskfur said softly to her son. Licking his ear, she turned back around. She laid her head back down and flicked her tail around get paws.

Podpaw sighed, slightly disappointed when his mother refused the prey he offered her. He laid it down beside her nest, before pressing his muzzle against er sift fur, purring softly before scampering to the apprentice den, climbing into his nest.

Duskfur's eyes watered as her son left the den. Slowly standing she walked out of the camp. Continuing she didn't stop until she had reached the edge of the territory. Slowing she looked back, knowing the decision she had to make was a big one. She found a spot in the reeds and lay down.
