Dipping her head she walked back to the den, ears and tail drooping.

"Unless by 'watch' you mean they yet off our fleas and ticks!"

Dapplenose rolled her eyes at her denmate. She hobbled out of the elders' den and over to Duskfur. "I'd be happy to watch them," she purred.

Mallownose glanced up to see Troutstream. "Hey, Troutstream!" He sniffed at the fish she'd just brought back and devoured it in a few hungry bites. "Mmm! Thanks!"

(Sorry if I rp Mallownose or Dapplenose OoC. I can't remember how they act in the books. ^^;)

A small smile creeped across Duskfur's face. "Thank you, they are sleeping now so hopefully it won't be to hard" She said licking the elders ear, "I won't be long" She said

Troutstream smiled. "Hello, Mallownose. You're welcome, though shouldn't it go to Duskfur or Dapplenose or Pouncetail?"

Mistystar shrugged. "I don't know. But more cats are very much needed. I think the baddest contestants for mates right now are Mintfur and Troutstream."

(What?? Mintfur is a bad contestant?? O.o--> XD)

"Alright." Dapplenose smiled and went to the nursery to look after the kits.

Mallownose froze mid-chew. "Oh. Right." He gave his chest fur a few embarrassed licks and swallowed the rest of the fish. "Don't worry! I'll bring them something else."
