Dustpaw knew it was her apprentice ceremony today,an expression of excitement(is that how you spell it?) crossed her face as she shot a look at the apprentices' den.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highfalls for a Clan meeting!" Firestar yowled as she kept onto her ledge.

Silverheart nudged Dustpaw forward, and sat down.

Moonstripe heard the yowl and trotted along to gather with the other cats, wondering what was going on. She had been about to begin the process of grooming herself, but it would have to wait.

Lakeshine sighed, rolling her eyes. Standing up, she padded over to the other cats, sitting down with her tail wrapped around her paws and her tail tip twitching.

"We are gathered here today to witness one of the most important times in Clan life. The making of a new apprentice." Firestar began. She flicked her tail for Dustpaw's to step forward.

Moonstripe became a little more interested at the mention of a new apprentice, flicking her tail once before curling it around her body. She regarded Dustpaw with her odd blue eyes, waiting patiently.
