Beetlepaw cast one more curious glance at Tickkit and Bluekit before turning back to Dawnpaw, Honeypaw, and Sootfall. "Well...okay then. Honeypaw is a Twoleg, I'm a badger, and Dawnpaw and Sootfall are my badger family." He reared up on his hind legs and swatted playfully at his sister. "Roaaarrr! Stay away from my family, Twoleg!"

"And I never said you had to," Robinthroat mewed. "I'm just letting you know." She nipped at her mate's ear and tugged on it.

Skypool's eyes flared with and as water soaked her pelt. Her cold-rage filled eyes glared down at the kit.

"Now you do," Bluekit remarked.

"Ah, not the ear!" Blazeclaw pulled his head back.

Robinthroat snickered and pulled on his ear again.

Beetlepaw landed on the ground with a thud. He pawed at his sister's face before struggling to his paws and giving her a gentle nip.
