Jad inhaled as if he were gasping for air after being suffocated for a long period of time. He looked like he might start yowling and howling again, but then he simply closed his mouth and fell asleep.

"Okay! Come on!" Weaselkit darted to the camp entrance.

Batfang popped into the apprentices' den. "Sparrowpaw?"
