Lightning walked through the forest, going slowly so the small kit could keep up. Poor thing, he hasn't said a thing since... What happened back there. It had been roughly a week since Thunder had killed his own mate, and Lightning was trying to get Flash as far away from her brother as possible. She had heard of a group of cats that lived in the area and was hoping that they would accept the two cats after she explained their situation. I doubt I would do well on my own. Before I had Thunder and the others but... She shook her head and called over to Flash, "Shouldn't be too much further!"
