Appledawn padded over to SpeckledStar. "I can't take this." She meowed. "My siblings have basically disowned me, and Cloudstar is gone, and now you have duties." She meowed, adding something. "I'm thinking about leaving... I just can't stand this." She meowed. Her eyes flicked around the room carefully, studying her father's den.

Silverpaw watched Riverpaw trot away, she turned and placed her bird on the fresh kill pile, despite her rumbling stomach she felt obligated to hunt more for the clan before eating

Wolfsnarl picked up Maple and trotted beside Appledawn "well it looks like we are Apple Wolf and Maple now" Wolfsnarl snarled to Speckledstar

Maple snickered as she got picked up

"Not yet." Appledawn meowed. "I .. I just can't take it!" She meowed to her father. She stormed out of her father's den and out of camp, running as fast as she could to an old oak she used to nap in.

Wolfsnarl raced after his mate with his sister in his jaws

Speckledstar stares in horror at his daughter, blinking sadly as he watches her run. "Apple, wait--" He begins, but is ignored. His ears flatten in sadness, and sighs. He pads into his den, and flops down in his nest, tears instantly streaming heavily from his eyes as he quietly sobs in the darkness. If there was something I could do, I would do it... But there's nothing I can do to change the past! He thinks to himself.

Blackhawk's ears perk as he hears her sister's yell, and he pads out of the den. "I'll be right back..." He mews to Heatherblossom, Icewing, and Riverpaw, seeing her run off. He pads over to his father's den, and gasps when he sees him sobbing. "Father?" he mews, padding over worriedly, and lies down beside him. "What's wrong? What happened?" He mews, his voice full of concern, as he had only seen him cry like this once before- when Cloudstar had died.

Speckledstar sighs blinks, trying to force the tears away, but no luck. "G-get your sib-blings-s." He sniffles. "I'll exp-plain to a-all of you." He mews, his voice shaking with sadness.

Blackhawk blinks and nods at his father getting up and padding back to where his siblings were talking as Heatherblossom tended to Icewing. "We have a problem." He mews, padding back into the den. "Father says he needs to talk to us."

Heatherblossom looks up and blinks. "Alright then. Give me and Icewing just a moment, I'm almost done." She mews, though a bit of worry shows through her voice.

Riverpaw lets go of a firefly he was playing with, blinks up at his "older" brother. "Okay..." He mews, padding out of the den, scared of the worry in Blackhawk's voice.

Icewing blinks. "What's happening?" She mews, she hadn't heard what Blackhawk had said as she had been humming to her self to ignore any stinging from the herbs. "Where are we going?" She mews.

Heatherblossom puts a paw on her sister's head, trying to keep her still. "Father's den. Now hold still, I'm almost done." She mews.

AppleDawn turned to Wolfsnarl. "Please Wolfsnarl.. I need to have some time alone," She said, with a pleading voice, and turned and climbed up into the Oak and into a large hole and stuck her head out and looked down, tears streaming from her eyes.

Speckledstar settles down, forcing back his tears so his youngest kit wouldn't see him cry. He blinks Riverpaw pads in, sighing. "Come in, come in." He mews, his voice full of sadness.

Blackhawk follows his brother. "I'll see you guys there." He mews to his sisters, padding out.

Heatherblossom licks Icewing caringly on the top of her head, following her brother. "We're right behind you." She mews.

Icewing purrs to her sister, following her out of the den.

Riverpaw, Blackhawk, Heatherblossom, and Icewing Settle down around their father, ears flattened in worry.

Blackhawk tilts his head a bit. "What's happened?" He mews.

Speckledstar sighs, and explains what happened what happened to his kits.

Heatherblossom wrinkles up her nose, snorting. She storms out of the den, Tail lashing. "Should've known!" She hisses. "I should've known she would do this!"

Blackhawk pads out after his sister, causiously padding up to her. "Easy, Heatherblossom...." He mews, trying to calm her down.

Heatherblossom turns around and narrows her eyes at her brother. "No! I will not take it easy!" She hisses loudly, her voice turning into a yell, and louder and louder as she speaks. "I should've known she would do this! She got the taste of being a real kittypet," She mews, trying to say that Icewing hadn't wanted to anyway, "And now she wants to go back! We risked our code and our lives trying to get her back, we didn't know what was in there!" She yells, furious. "But if she wants a lazy, stupid, worthless kittypet life with that stupid rogue and his stupid sister, then fine by me! I don't care anymore!" She yowls, her voice fueled by anger and rage, scaring away some birds. She storms back to her den, every fur on her body raised in anger, and flops down in her nest. "As far as I'm concerned, she's just a stupid kittypet now, not my sister! And If I ever see her again, I will rip her pelt off!" She calls from the den.

Blackhawk blinks in shock at his sister, motionless and wordless, and he blinks sighing, and pads to his own den, though he felt the same way.

Icewing's expression says nothing as her father finishes the story, but just moments after she sighs and her head droops, and tears begin to dapple from her eyes. (One tear, ~Streams down her face~, Next tear, ect.) "But..." She mews, as if she was going to say the "Kin of a kind" thing, but she saw no point in it anymore, as they obviously were not.

Riverpaw blinks, gasping in surprise, and goes over to Icewing for comfort, snuggling into her long, soft fur. "Icewing..." He mews, tears beginning to dapple from his eyes aswell. He expected no answer, he just wanted to say her name.

Icewing cuddles up to her brother, wrapping her tail around him, though she was glad for his comfort.
