Brownstar locked gazes with Gingershade for a short moment and he nodded, “You may. Blackcry, you will go with her just in case.” Blackcry bowed his head to his leader and the slim black tom padded gracefully over to the she-cat. “I expect you to finish your patrol whence you’re sure that Rock Clan is gone,” Brownstar ordered and turned back towards camp. “Spottedpaw, Duskstep, let’s go.” [Now they can find your kit ^u^]

Gingershade stiffened, although it was not noticeable. Great.... a tom... she thought to herself. Gingershade nodded, "Yeah, we'll finish the patrol after we confirm they have left." She started walking towards the direction the RockClan cats left.

Blackcry trotted after Gingershade and slowly came up beside her. His long, thin legs made him a few inches taller than the she-cat. “Be careful,” he warned her in a soft, friendly voice and he tilted his nose up into the air to take in the Rock Clan cat’s scents. Their scents were still as fresh as could be.
The closer they got to the boarder, the easier it was to see the Black Rock hills. There was also less trees. The sun was beating down on the tom’s black pelt and it felt soothing. Rock Clan was so lucky to be able to feel this kind of warmth all of the time.

Gingershade nodded to the tall tom, surprised that he actually talked to her in such a gentle tone. She padded after him, sniffing the air now and then. As they walked more, trees started to disappear and it seemed like it got more warmer. Gingershade purred at the warm sunlight falling onto her ginger fur. Realizing she was purring, she quickly stopped, embarrassment flooded her blue eyes. She looked down while walking, watching her front-legs move back and forth.

(I think I'm going to do this layout-thing more, I like it c:)

When the boarder came into sight, Blackcry also noticed the scattered droplets of blood that had been left on the ground from other cats. His nose crinkled at the scent and his round blue eyes narrowed. “I can’t believe Soul Clan actually did this….” He sighed and looked at Gingershade, his aqua colored optics growing sadder. There was no sign of Dustfang and her cats. There was only the tracks they had left behind and their strong earthy scents.

Or maybe i'm just slow... x3
Oh, and I think Blackcry might end up liking Gingershade.

The Tom nodded, "I'm glad to hear that being behaved." he smiled, flicking hi ears. "I will soon join you, when i believe that Rainpaw is reedy to become the medicine cat" she purred at Rainpaw, te flicked his head towards outside, "Shall we get going?"

Rainpaw nodded, smiling at all of three of the older cats before wandering to the entrance. "Yes, Sheepbelly. I'm here and ready. What did you need me to take care of next?"

Gingershade simply nodded, purposely avoided eye contact. The smell of blood drifted into her nose. SoulClan's gotta pay... she thought to herself. "What if we're next?" she suddenly asked, still looking down at her paws. Would SoulClan even spare the kits and elders?

Sheepbelly led his apprentice out of the den, "I need you to go into Fade Forest. We are low on junior berries, marigold, and Tansy. Cobwebs would be nice, and when you come back I want you to tell me the use for those 4." he instructed, "You might need someone to come help you. If you need me I'll be reorganizing the herb storage. The kits rummaged through it again" he let out a happy sigh, and bounded off to his den.

Blackcry’s ear twitched at Gingershade’s comment and he pondered the thought in his head. “It’s possible it might happen,” he answered and quietly padded up beside the she-cat. “We’re just going to have to make sure that the clan is ready for anything,” he meowed. “And besides…. If Soul Clan was barely able to take on Rock Clan, then they would have no chance against Maple Clan,” he proposed, letting a soft purr emanate from his throat
