Sheepbelly nodded, "Do you think I should take Rainpaw, or should I find a warrior to accompany me, just in case there is an attack?" he asked. Flicking his gaze around camp, he wondered which warriors were available, just in case he didn't take Rainpaw.

“Taking a warrior with you is crucial. I’m not sure if taking Rainpaw is a very good decision though. If Soul Clan was planning to attack soon, then we should at least have one medic in the camp,” Brownstar answered.

"From mother, duh," the large kit laughed. But, his expression quickly darkened with grief. "Never know her," the kit frowned, memories flashing in his hazel optics. It was true, one day he just found himself near a stream. He searched for his mother all over the place, but couldn't find her.

Sheepbelly nodded, "I will be back as soon as possible" he then dropped his voice to a meer mutter as he turned away to find a warrior that would company him. "Hopefully she knows what to do if that time comes" he gave a sigh with a slight smile and looked over his shoulder at Brownstar, "Rainpaw is in the forest, but I'll send her back." he said, before poking his head ion the warrior's den, "Is anyone up for accompanying an old cat to speak with our ancestors?" he asked

"I am," Leopardblaze responded, lifting his head up from grooming his ruffled fur. He stood up and shook his pelt. "When do we leave?" he asked quietly. He hadn't been out of the camp for today. Anyways, it would be a good wake-up for him.

The Tom happily perked his ears as Leopardblaze offered. "We leave right now, once you are ready coke to my den and I will give you traveling herbs." He mewed and bounded off to his den. There he organized to piles of traveling herbs, one pile for him, and the other for Leopardblaze.

The cream cat limp into the medicine cat den, holding her forepaw up. "Sheepbelly, I have a thorn stuck in my paw" she mewed, wincing slightly as the Tom pulled it out. She obediently sat down and licked her small wound, her bright green optics looking at the traveling herbs, "Gosh I wish I could come" she said, hopefully looking at Sheepbelly.

The Tom shook his head, "No, Leopardblaze is accompanying me. We need you to stay here and guard the camp, as well as you having an injured paw pad" he rested his tail tip sympathetically on her shoulder, "Young 'uns so energetic"

Leopardblaze's jaws parted as he yawned. He arched his back and flexed his claws in a large stretch. He padded out of his den and walked over to the medicine cat den. "Which one of these herb piles are for me?" he asked, his green oculi examining the herbs. He flinched as the scent of the herbs made its way into the nose. The scent was a mixture of bitter and sweet.

“Be careful,” Brownstar said in a solemn voice. “And steer clear of the thunderpath,” he added and laid down in his den. He was extremely worried. Hopefully Sheepbelly will bring back good news.

Blackcry lowered his head and leaned in to sniff that kit. “You should know that you’re eating my clan’s prey,” he told him and narrowed his eyes into threateningly thin slits. Blackcry had no intentions in hurting or chasing the kit away. The kit seemed special. He was definitely different.

The grey Tom nudged the tom's pile towards him with a paw. "This one. Swallow, don't chew, it will help herb last." he explained, before lapping up his own pile. He gave his limbs a stretch, flexing his claws. "Ready?" he asked.
