Shaefeather noticed her two kits walking back into camp with the group, and she padded over to them. "Where have you two been?" She asked cautiously. She'd been a little worried since the badger and rogue incidents. "Nothing, mom." Lionpaw said, sounding annoyed. "We were with Ivystar." Maypaw explained happily. Shaefeather nodded, but felt like she wasn't getting the whole story.

Shadow looked up as he saw Eris coming near, he got up and walked over to her. "How did it go?" He asked vaguely, knowing that she was intending on meeting with Ivystar.

Ivystar hesitated, she couldn't tell the truth, so she lied.
"Badger." She mewed trying not to make eye contact with Swiftfang.

B E E

Bee whimpered. "Ow... and so what?" She mewed quietly.

Eris padded over to her kits and Shadow and purred nuzzling. "Well for us, bad for her, she died but you know, the idiotic clan way, they come back, anyway we have to invade." She rubbed against him.

Shadow purred lightly. "Good, gives the rest of us a chance to get our paws dirty." He said, nuzzling his mate. "They're no match for us, anyways."

The she-cat had woke up from her abrupt cat-nap, snoring soundly, yet twitching a few times to the hear of cats hollering and such. She yawned drowsily and realized she was upside down due to the fact that the wind had blown her this way. She groaned and let go with one front paw, then one back paw. Then the other two, and she landed on the ground with a thump. She winced, yet got up. She was numb from sleeping upside-down, all the blood to her head had gotten to her. She'd feel the pain from the fall a bit later. She heaved herself up, and stretched out a paw. It cracking, she nodded to herself, satisfied.

The she-cat then started padding to the camp, sometimes bumping into trees due to the swaying of her body. She scrunched up her face and she creaked through the leaves, then stomping to get her sleepy leg awake. She let out a huff of air, looking around. No cats, odd. She frowned to one side, thinking that warriors and apprentices would be bustling about. She shrugged and entered the entrance of camp, yawning.

Bee dashed toward her father and mother and purred. "I missed you, why are you hurt?"

Eris shushed her kit and then nodded at her mate. "I told her about her past, I know I shouldn't have, but I did." She admitted.

Swiftfang nodded, a bit skeptical. "Really, a badger gave you all that? You've seen Sageleaf already, right?"


S H A D E

"So, I want to hear how she defeated Ivystar! Again, right?" Shade meowed matter-of-factly, staying and place and sitting up straight.

"Sent her running home, crying, right?" Mapleblaze spoke up. She really hoped that she did. She hated Ivystar, and all of OakClan for that matter.

Eris purred at her kit. "I pinned her down and bit her neck, an easy kill if you ask me, now, Shade, go hunt for tonight." She gave Bee and slight shove toward her brother and then turned to Mapleblaze and chuckled. "Probably, I can't wait to shove her in the river, just like I did with her mother before."

Ivystar nodded. "Yes, and it was a badger, I just didn't pay attention and it took me by surprise."

"Mom is the most powerful cat in the forest!" Shade squeaked, trotting out of the nest and obeying his mothers orders to go hunt. "C'mon, Bee!"

Swiftfang nodded. "Okay, then. Well, get some sleep and stretch a little. That always makes me feel better, and I hope it works for you too." She meowed, getting up and shaking her fur.

Bee followed her brother, her heart was racing she was never allowed to hunt, Eris or Shadow always did it for her, she began to run and stopped at OakClan camp. "Shade! This is their camp!" She mewed worriedly.

Ivystar nodded and proceeded to lay down falling into a deep sleep in the middle of the clearing.
