Her car pulled up to the curb, and she hopped out, fixing her hair along the way. Others parted for her, and she smiled sarcastically, padding towards her locker.
First day of school year isn't so bad... she thought as she tidily piled her books and essential needs into the spacious locker. She looked on to the inside of the door, and found a small mirror, perfect for applying makeup. She smiled realistically this time, and stuck up her little quotes and mini posters. She loved the one that said, "When you're feeling down, put on make-up."
Mariana closed the locker and walked happily to her first class.

Lily had walked the two blocks from her house to school, while humming some songs and eating her breakfast; a small pb&j sandwich. She padded towards her locker and put in coat, she looked at the large amount of posters and pictures and thought of all the memories that she made when she took those pictures. She bluntly closed her locker door and looked for the rest of her group.
