Moonkit slowly got up from her nest and shook the moss from her pelt. "I'll never be a warrior, will I? I have to be a medicine cat don't I?" She growled and started searching the floor for bit of moss she kicked to push back into her nest.

Runningheart heard the kit's voice and decided to wait outside until Holloweyes calmed Moon kit down.

"What makes you think you have to be the medicine cat's apprentice?" the black she-cat asked. Holloweyes was a bit cold for a she-cat but she tried her best to connect and sympathize with the little kit.

"I can't see. We all know useless cat's get stuck as medicine cat's," She growled and pushed past the warrior, heading out into the camp.
