Ginger padded after her, She took in the scents that would overwhelm most cats but not her. "I think I can smell some crowfood in the silver thing." she pointed towards a trash can with her tail.

Josephine looked to where she was pointing. She inhaled the air, and sure enough, there was a rather strong scent wafting from it. "Let's go check it out." She bounded over to the trashcan.

"It looks pretty full, let's try to knock it over. " she mewed. Ginger took a few pawsteps back then lunged at the can driving her paws into it.

Josephine watched as the can toppled over. She pawed away the dirty napkins, broken sunglasses, and etcetera until she spotted a fat cheeseburger cloaked in paper. It had only one bite missing.

Ginger smelled the meat, "It has something yellow on it. " she moved closer and licked the yellow goop. "It's weird..but I think I like it."

Josephine hesitated before licking the yellow stuff. She swiped her tongue over her jaws and nodded. "Yeah, it's not bad."

Ginger stuck her head into the rancid smelling can. She dug her paws through trying to avoid the harmful waste. She stepped into the can and pulled out a large black rubbery mass. "It taste bad."

"Spit it out," Josephine told her. She could only hope that nothing they found during their search for food would lead to some kind of illness or poisoning later on.

She nodded, quickly spitting out the disgusting substance. "That's going to lead a bad taste in my mouth." She flicked her tail and tore open another black bag. This time a white box fell out. "What is this...?" she said stepping into it. "Whoa-WHOA!" Her eyes widened in surprise. "This is really comfortable." she closed her eyes smiling.

Eclipse looked in disgust at the tiny chicken bone Bullet had brought. "You call that prey?" He snarled. "Here, I'll show you where the real deal is at." He led Bullet out of the territory and they walked for a while, avoiding Twolegs and their dogs in the way. He then stopped at an alley, with a large dumpster.
