Falling Water drew her tail away. "Not when your like this." She retorted. Leaning over, she picked him up. The lithe she cat dumped him on the ground outside the den. She looked down at Firefly and her eyes widened. "Leave now!" She snapped, glaring at the kit.

"See you around!" River Storm echoed. He watched her go and contentedly walked into his den to sleep.

Skyde twisted and turned violently as Falling Water carried him outside of the den. "You don't make the rules around here! Only Father does!" he shouted once he had been set down again.

Doe sniffed a bit. "Thank you."

Falling Water looked at him and rolled her eyes before going back for Firefly. Doing the same thing to him, she went back to Doe. "No problem." She replied. "By the way, my name's Falling Water." She introduced herself.

Firefly rolled his eyes. "Once a low squad, always a low squad." He whispered to his sister, "We're just preparing you. This is life. We are strong and we need to prepare you so you don't get yourself killed." He left.

Doe's fur was bushed as Firefly left. "Hmm? Oh, I'm Doe!"

Falling Water glared at Firefly and then looked at Doe, gaze softening. "Nice to meet you." She purred softly. "If you want them to leave you alone, just ignore them. Eventually, they'll stop when they realize it isn't fun torturing you anymore."

"They won't." The kits gaze dropped. "That's how all of the low squaders and weak den cats are treated by high squaders. It's just worse because I disappointed everyone."

Falling Water frowned. "Because you went with Jad and what was his name, Diamond?" She sighed softly. "They shouldn't treat you like that." She murmred.

Doe nodded. "We had the life. A Twoleg fed us and took care of us. We all played like kits. It was the best. It even took care of me when Crekara and Brindle tried the first time!"
