Brechin slunk into the cat's den.

He shot a glare at the cat who had jumped on him before standing up and quickly dipping his head to Salazar. "I'll fight hard for all of you. The Clan won't know what hit it,"

"I know." His eyes sparked with anger.

He's still annoyed about the previous second's death... Blade thought I'll have to prove Im better than he ever was

Jad caught Blade's paw with his own and slammed it on the ground, digging his claws in. "Who are you?!" he screeched in the tom's ear. He jumped back in anticipation that the tom would retaliate.

"Im the new second, so you better watch your pelt," he answered steadily,"Unless you want a few holes in your ears!"

"Enough!" Salazar growled. "Jad, is that how you speak to your superiors?"

Jad cackled maniacally. "Big talk for such little kitty! I am not afraid of your hollow threats!" He whipped around to see Salazar and flattened his ears. "He has only just arrived and I do not even know his name! You cannot expect me to be so welcoming to a cat that I am unfamiliar with! How was I not to wonder if he was an AshClan cat that had found its way into our camp? He does very smell like AshClan!"
