Your home, the tiny island of Peqquanitae.

To the north, there is Frisses, the Ice Region.

Pronounced: (Fri-siss)
General Direction: North
Climate: Freezing

Terrain: Though not obvious on first sight, Frisses is made up of mostly water, most of which is frozen. Freezing temperatures and alott of snow give it the nickname the Ice Region.
Attractions: The Fisser Glacier is quite a sight, with it's 1 mile diameter and it's stunning blue exterior, it has a magical effect. Just grab a pick or two and go for an ice climb for good exercise and a refreshingly beautiful scenery.

Appearance: Risajor resemble an Ornithomimus Velociraptor cross, with satiny, feather like fur, that from birth is a pearlly whte, becoming a silvery grey as they age. They have scythe like claws and scales to match them. The scales start at the tip of the beak like nose and continue a bit down the shoulder blade, stopping at the back and continuing down the tail. Thought the claws and scales are usually a steely blue, they can have exceptions of indigo, grey, and the very rare black. Underneath their fur they have plate like scaly armor. The only place they have no visible fur is there underbelly, the same color as their claws.
Mating: Every year, the Risajor choose a seemingly random mating grounds. Females will form groups of 5-7, and walk around the mating grounds. Male Rijasor will approach a group of females and strike the air in a display of strength and speed. If another male approaches the same group of females, they will lash out in a violent battle, usually ending in death or serious injury. The winner claiming the female of choice, the loser becoming an outcast.

Pronounced: (Fur-voir-iss)
General Direction: South
Climate: Hot
High Temp. Average: 80°F to 90°F
Low Temp. Average: 58°F to 60°F
Annual Temp. Average: 72°F
Terrain: Fervouris is a very hot region, therefore nick-named the fire region. Most of the land is made up of desert, The temperatures rising during the day, and sinking dramatically in the later hours. Dry and dusty /24/7/364, it has few amounts of water, and only 7.87" of rainfall a year.
Attractions: The Vouara Oasis is the biggest oasis on the continent. Famous for its giant overhanging palm trees and crystal clear blue water, most travelers say it's worth the dry. hot, dusty trek, to be able to lounge in the breezy shade of the palm trees, eating the fresh, sweet, Pocalla fruit that grows off of the bushes surrounding it's luxurios interior. They say a centuries' worth of stress can be cured by a dip into it's chilled, blue waters.

Diet: Mainly insects, weeds, barrel cacti*, and the occasional small desert rodent.

Appearence: The Savo are a toad like race, posessing large webbed feet and a potato like body. They have very bumpy skin and are usually a shade of brown or muddy green. They have a coating of mucus on their skin, giving them a shiny exterior, as well as a slimy feel.
Common Occupations: Most of the Savo tend to the Vouarora Oasis, cleaning the water and beaches, as well as tending to the plants. Many of them also work in cafes in the Savo villages, although they are not usually welcome to jobs outside of them. Other Savo sometimes work as biologists, normally specializing in swamp lands.
Mating: Savo usually mate in the Winter, when it's cooler out. Female Savo usually prefer larger males. When Savo mate, they build a nest, mixing clay that they dig from the ground and mixing it with water. They then shaping it into a dome like shape, waiting about 5 days for it to dry. Savo's lay eggs, not live young, and usually have a litter of about 2500. However, only about 12 survive.

Roederon

Resemble: A slightly large mouse
Diet: They will eat nearly anything smaller than them, and are very versatile with their diet.

Common Female Names: Punae, Silm, Sakorva, Saba
Avaerage Height (Male): 13"
Average Height (Female): 12.5"

Appearance: A large mouse, usually ranging in the colors white to black to brown to blonde, with various possible designs. The Roderon are very fine boned and light as well, but are surprisingly sturdy. They have four molars in the back, only for chewing purposes, as well as two front teeth that appear to be welded together for cutting and defensive use. They have two sharp claws in their two fingered paws for climbing and defense.
Common Occupations: Some Roededrons put themselves up as scavengers for hire, finding food and furnishing for the incapable, busy, and lazy in exchange for other services such as home building and real eastate (yes, they're that smart.)
Mating: Like the Savo, they mate in the Winter. The females prefer the faster, leaner males, and will mate with up to 7 males in one season. The Roederon, though mating multiple times, will choose one male to live with them. They, being an intelligent race, will either dig a hole in the sand, or if they are willing to wait, will find a soft rock, and using a mixture of water and grit, will soften the exterior, then using their claws will hollow out the softened rock, furnishing it with feathers and shiny stones. They have about six young, but one or two will inevitably die.

LifeSspan: About 15 years.

Also, watch out for Mushukks. 3.5" disease carrying mosquito like insects that swarm in the hundreds, attacking in the night hours.
