"Bramblepaw. She's dead. I'm sorry, but there's no more we can do for her." Hazelpaw stood up her eyes filled with grief. "Help me get her into the clearing so that the clan can mourn her."

Stone sigh. "My name is Stone." He meowed. Name wouldn't make a difference. "I live a bit away, where me and my friends can stay. We've been here for a bit, and we plan on staying until the worst of leafbare is gone." He squirmed a bit, uncomfortable in his position. "You see, my friend went hunting, and when she didn't return, we came to get her back. We had no idea there were other cats here, and we see that you're not too friendly by the way you held her prisoner. We just want to go home, please."

Bramblepaw nodded, crawling out from under the elders leg, standing. The tom slowly reached down to grab her by the scruff, choking back another wail of remorse when her scent was faint, most of it remaining on him. And probably her nest.

Hazelpaw lifted the back part of Raindapple body, and helped to maneuver her out to the clearing.

The tabby tom felt weak, as if collapsing any moment. But never did. His tail drooped, finally letting her down slowly into the middle of the clearing. He trembled, thumping down next to Raindapple. They hadn't spent anytime together lately. It had been sad.

Hazelpaw bowed her head, sitting down. It hurt. It was her fault, she didn't know how to heal such a bad injury.

Bramblepaw was cleaning the rest of her matted fur, using a paw to close her eyes. "As if she was sleeping.." He winced at the notice of her body growing cold.

"But she walks with Starclan. Maybe she'll visit you in your dreams. You're an apprentice, so you still have to visit the StarCave." Hazelpaw murmured.

Bramblepaw was silent again, and nodded. "True.. I hope so.." The words were soft. He couldn't stand to do anything that reminded him of Raindapple. Which was eat, sleep, lay in her 'spot' basking under the sun. It's never be the same.
