"Plus, she'll find it normal to chat there instead of private." Tigerfang went on. He was almost thinking of Littlestep.

"No!", she says, swatting the berry away. "That's a death berry!"

Duskheart nods. "Thanks Tigerfang."

"Huh?" Stripedkit squeaked, fear in her voice as she backed away into a stack of leaves.

"No problem." The tom purred.

"A death berry! One berry and your dead!", she says panicking.

Duskheart purrs and finishes his squirrel

Stripedkit's heart raced, and she cried out,"I can't!" And she raced out of the den, tears welling in her eyes.

"Well, I'm going to sleep. Tell me if anything happens." Tigerfang stood up and slid into the warriors den.

BirdPaw shook his head and nosed it over to her. "I'm not hungry ScarletPaw. I brought it for you because I haven't seen you eat much in a few days."

Stripedkit's heart raced, and she cried out,"I can't!" And she raced out of the den, tears welling in her eyes.

"Well, I'm going to sleep. Tell me if anything happens." Tigerfang stood up and slid into the warriors den.

Lightkit watches after her sadly. She sighs and looks for Sparrowtail.

Scarletpaw opened her mouth to protest, but thought better of it. She took a bite, and as the taste began to seep into her mouth she remembered how hungry she was. Scarletpaw finished in a few famished gulps, before looking up with happy eyes. "Thank you."

Stripedkit wailed, hiding in a patch of ferns in which she blended in well. The kit covered her eyes with her paws, crying quietly.

BirdPaw purred softly, delighted to see his friend finally eat something. "Now come on." He nudged her side with his head. "Get up!"

"But I just ate!" Scarletpaw protested, but she stood up.
