Skykit squeaked sleepily and cuddled close to her brother and fell asleep.

"We're still too little, she says." Cheetahkit chirped.

Stripedkit shifted restlessly as she heard more voices and squealing in the den. It hurt her ears, as they hadn't yet grown used to sound.

"I'll talk to her about that," Leopardblaze smiled and flicked his tail. His ears twitched as he heard something shift in a nest. He turned his head, "This must be Stripedkit, right?" He approached the kit carefully and quietly. "We should probably be quiet, since she's just opened her ears," he whispered to his kits. Bravekit's shoulders slumped and his ears drooped. "But that sounds so boring! Why can't we be loud and have fun?" he asked, avoiding a warning look from Fallenkit. "Sh," Leopardblaze looked at Bravekit. "One second," he told his kits before poking his head, not his body, out of the nursery. Leopardblaze's eyes locked on Sparrowtail by the fresh-kill pile. "Can they come outside? They're being too loud for Stripedkit to handle," he called to her.

"Ok, first," Lionpaw started, dropping into an almost-perfect hunter's crouch, "you have to learn the hunter's crouch. So copy my crouch."

Sparrowtail looked up, and paused for a moment. "Fine." She eventually grumbled. "But if any of them even try to leave camp, tell them I'll make them stay in the nursery for another moon!"

Cheetahkit squealed.

Hazelpaw mimicked Lionpaw's position. It was lousy for a cat of her age, but better then her fighting.

She twitched her tail rapidly back and forth in excitement at the news of her passed assessment. "Really?! Oh, Heartstar, thank you! Thank you for everything you've taught me so much!" She purred, running through the Warrior Code in her mind.

Eaglekit [F] - MoonClan - Kit

Mewing in surprise at her mother's agreement, Eaglekit bounced out of the nursery, stretching her legs and waving her thin tail.

Trudgeclaw [M] - DawnClan - Medicine Cat

The tom huffed as he sorted through the medicine stocks. It didn't seem like they were out of anything major, and the weather was nice - and yet, Trudgeclaw hadn't seen his apprentice all day. It wouldn't surprise him if she was out of camp - he knew she always enjoyed being out - but she usually wasn't gone for too long without notice. His tail quivered uneasily. She he ask Heartstar or Flowerdust to organize a patrol to find her? Or was he just overreacting?

Cheetahpaw dashed after his sister. Being an obident kit, he hadn't seen the outdoors yet. And it was an eye opener. "Whoa!" Cheetahpaw gasped, pausing to look around.
