You pad through the dark caverns in the middle of a mountain,hungry and on the verge of death. You're ears prick and your fur stands on end as you hear something. You look around,baring your teeth in a snarl as you try to find the source of the sound. You see dark blue eyes staring out at you from the darkness. "Hello." A beautiful she-cat with a silvery pelt comes walking over to you calmly. "I am Moonstar,leader of Duskclan. Come,traveler,we will help you." She says kindly,turning and heading deeper into the cave.

Welcome to DuskClan! Please do have fun RPing in this clan and run things by me first if you aren't sure with something. Feel free to PM me about any rule changes/suggestions or even just to chat,please try to keep on good terms with the others too! Also if you see anyone who has broken the rules in some way,please PM me!

{Warrior Code
{Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
{Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
{Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
{Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
{A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
{Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
{A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
{The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
{After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
{A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
{Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
{No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
{The word of the Clan Leader is the warrior code.
{An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
{A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

When all of the lives have been given, the previous leader says these words:

+Name Changing Ceremony: "Spirits of StarClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what he/she is. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment on he/she will be known as _____, for ___________."

Personality:
She's extremely sweet to others, and has a soft spot for smaller kits. She can be tough if she wants to and has this horrible temper she cannot control at all. If she does get mad at you for any reason, brush it off, it's just herself not being controlled. She wish she could stop it. A few more traits of hers' would have to be adventurous. She loves just plain adventure in the forest. She's also extremely smart, which leads her to her power of being able to connect to further ancient tribe cats and Starclan cats. It's amazing of how much respect she has for the eldest and warriors. She practically is like a teachers' pet to her mentor, because she wants to be the best cat in her place that she can be; that is with other cats aswell. But overall, she's a good cat, and good to know.
History:
As a kit, she grew up in the clan with two parents, Blackfur and Igniteflight. They loved her very much, but didn't pay much attention when her sister came. She grew jealous and had agony of them not paying any attention to her whatsoever. It was a dreadful experience but she survived it. Her sister got picked up and died from a drop of a hawk. She was sad, but secretly inside, happy. She tried to get her parents attention now that she was dead, but they would shoo her off. That was until small Lightkit had her first dream from Starclan. She saw the former leaders and warriors; she was particularly scared because she was small and teeny at the moment back then. Then she realized how special she was and how fascinating her relationship was between the other worlds, after this life. It was amazing; but horrid, because that was the only thing her parents would know her for, is that power. They eventually died, before her apprenticeship. She became proud and brushed off her kithood. And is well-known as of now.

Personality:
Sandstorm is usually a caring type of cat, but he may get aggressive at times; so watch out! You should be careful when he's down or mad at something in particular, do not approach him. He will just rage at you, and it might become feisty and he will bring out the claws. But he's not like that alot, so don't be afraid to approach him at all. He will most likely strike up a conversation due to his very talkative or chatterbox I might say attitude. He's not very shy, so you can speak to him at any time! Just not at you know what times. But he's a very nice cat overall.
History:
As some cats, he grew up as a rouge in the forest. He doesn't know much, but all he knows is that he was a small kit and usually tortured by other rouge cats; most likely the grown up ones. It was awful, if you were lucky, you would get a skinny rabbit at the most. They would eat berries as a diet, so that's how he got used to the almost-starving times in the clan when he was brought it. He got "sand" as his first name in his clan name because his pelt is sandy and such. He got the last name "storm" when he was a warrior because he took storm to this clan, but it a good way.

Personality:
Frosttail is usually shy most of the time, so you don't see alot of her. It's one of the traits in some cats that you can't overcome that shyness that easily. Her furr color is pure white, she has no speckles of color on her and she can blend in with the snow perfectly, hence her name. Her eyes are a pretty sky blue, resembling a cool winter day, they are a bit large but they look quite regular. She is small and frail, though her body build she can be quite vicious when it comes to hunting and battle.

{ It was a cold dark night, the heavy breath of her siblings left a chill on her pelt. "I-it's gonna be fine" she encouraged but they still seemed scared out of their minds, just like she was. She had been calling out for her mother for days but she never got a reply. The cold of the snow falling and the wind rushing was just too much to handle. She heard a soft whimper from her side and then, silence. She jerked her head to the side to see her sibling laying upon the ground, no movement to be seen. "N-no" she whimpered before turning her head and nudging her one other sibling away. It was too much for the two to see after the past two days, "rest in peace" she whispered as they neared a large hole in the ground. The two cats crawled their way through the entrance of the hole and a horrid stench had soon filled their noses. Horror flooded through Snowpaw's face as she watched her own sibling die at the paws of a badger pair. She tried to move but she was paralyzed in fear, she finally walked away as the badgers came towards her. As she crawled through the entrance as fast as she could, the badgers bit and clawed at her back paw. She limped away, alone and deeply saddened as her exhaustedness hit her, she hit the ground in a second and was asleep. She soon woke up in a starnge place, in the medicine den. From now on, Snowfall has had nightmares about her horrible past.
