ReedClan- Silent and Strong (O/A!)

Silverpaw's ears twitched as she smiled at the warriors comfort. The mute apprentices eyes lit up, seeing the fish Featherpelt showed her coming this way, getting ready for the fishes, Silverpaw out stretched her claws. Wiping her front paws into the water as the fish swam by, catching one by its tail.


Raggedpaw blinked his blue eyes calmly, scanning the area around him, his ears twitched and his tail waved around in the wind.

[Waspsting]

Razorheart flicked his tail slightly and bounded forward, out of the camp, heading for the marsh. He didn't bother to accommodate for his apprentice's shorter legs. It would help wake him up, anyways.

She brought up the rear, her tail swaying behind her, FeatherTail's whiskers pierced in the wind. Her maw lay slightly open, senses flooding her, almost overwhelming.

Raggedpaw ran in the middle of the two warriors, sniffing the fresh morning air as he thought to himself, an occasional yawn came out of the apprentice as he tried to run off the last of his sleepyness.

(Nightsong is accepted! The apprentice is also accepted, except for one thing- at the top, it says his name is Jaypaw, but in the form, it says is name is Stormpaw. Is he Jaypaw or Stormpaw?)

Razorheart ran for a few minutes longer, then suddenly reached out and dug his front paws into the now soft, wet soil. "Here we are!" He announced. "Ready for you first reed lesson, Raggedpaw?"

"Well, I'll leave you two for your training." She supposed, giving a flick of her tail as she started to pad out into the marshy undergrowth, her pelt lithe to her form. After my whole time spent grooming, I'll be mistaken for a porcupine. She thought to herself silently, shaking her scruff quickly as she continued on, her ears perked, her maw open to sense any type of prey.

Raggedpaw nodded "Sure!" He meowed, determined, his sleepyness now gone. "What's first? Fighting? Hunting? Sneaking up on big animals like a fox?!"

[Waspsting]

"Woah, calm down," Razorheart purred. "First, I'm teaching you to listen. Reeds are like no other terrain. You can't scent things, because the marsh-smell covers it all up. And you can't see, because the reeds block your view. So you must listen. Sit still. Close your eyes if you have to, and just listen. When you think you hear prey, I want you to tell me where it is." Razorheart knew this was slightly unfair, but he wanted to prove to Raggedpaw that this was hard, unlike anything else in his training so far.

"What? listening? I gotta be trained, to listen?" Raggedpaw blurted down, his tail dropping fast. "That doesn't make any sense. Why do i need to listen to get my prey? We have PLENTY of fish in the river." He grumbled, not really listening to the directions he had to follow.
