Firefly chanted the new names and looked up in pride, it was great to have new apprentices.

Cougarheart led Fallenpaw from camp, and padded over to OakClan's border with SpiritClan. "This is OakClan, er and a thunderpath. Never wander onto the thunderpath, or a monster may grab you," he warned. "And yes, it does smell bad."

"Acekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Acepaw. Your mentor will be Arrowchaser. I hope Arrowchaser will pass down all she knows on to you." Dawnstar turned to Arrowchaser,
"Arrowchaser, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Longwhisker, and you have shown yourself to be witty and kind. You will be the mentor of Acepaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her."

Fallenpaw wrinkled his nose in disgust at the smell. "Starclan! they need to groom themselves!" He mewed and watched as one ran past.

Firefly chanted the new names and glanced at them.

Cougarheart smiled, "they sure do, now let's head to our border with PondClan and SnowClan." He padded away from the thunderpath, keeping a close eye on Fallenpaw.
