I woke up late, a dream had kept me up all night and I was just now waking up from when I finally fell into a fitful sleep. I walked out of the den and to the elders to see if anything needed to be done, still in a sleepy haze I walked smack into Swallowpaw.

"How? I though you would have many friends." I looked at her like she was crazy my blue eyes wide and curious.

Thrushflight saw a squirrel and killed it shortly after.

Glacierpaw slipped into camp, a plump rabbit and a squirrel dangling from his jaws. He'd been hunting out early, and now he held his head high as he went to drop his prized catches on the growing fresh kill pile. Perhaps he should take some for the elders... with that thought on his mind, he picked up the squirrel again and began to make his way to the elders' den.

Silkpaw woke up with sunlight streaming through the entrance of the den. Shoot, how late is it? She scrambled to her paws and poked her head out, her blue eyes wide and panicked. She would hate to have missed something, and she didn't want to disappoint her mentor by oversleeping. Even though she had just woken up, her long fur was soft and silky as always. It was one thing Silkpaw liked about it.

The tall tabby tom emerged from the warriors den, seemingly still half-asleep. He had fallen asleep late last night, having gone out to hunt in the evening. His mind was still groggy as he padded over to the fresh kill pile, and only when he picked up a mouse did he realize how hungry he was. Holding back a yawn, Owlflight sat down with his prey and took a large bite hungrily.

Leafspot spluttered awake, coughing. She slowly rose up to her paws, her thin frame trembling as she broke into another series of coughs. Tansy, coltsfoot... her mind was a jumbled mess as she tried to remember the herbs used to treat coughs and ease breathing. The sickly elder stumbled outside and headed towards the medicine den, her limbs painfully sore and her head spinning as she lumbered forward.
