Tigerstripe was walking towards the lake to teach his apprentice fishing when he noticed he had gone after a thrush, he watched ready to analyse his forest hunting skills.

Oakpaw dropped into a hunters crouch and crept forward. He was so busy making sure that his fluffy tail didn't touch the ground that he forgot to watch his paws. He accidently stepped on a twig, he growled and leaped after the bird but it was already out of his reach ,"Fox-dung!" he yowled after it and landed. He flattened his ears in embarrassment and sighed inwardly before turning to his mentor.

Silverfeather picked up the squirrel and padded over to where she had buried her mouse. She dug it up and picked it up as well. With her jaws full, she padded back towards camp. She was looking around and nearly tripped over a tree root. Her yowl of surprise was muffled by fur and she stopped for a moment to catch her breath before continuing onward.

Pensivecry was extremely pacifistic and wasn't much of a help, not that she could with Venompaw pinning the rouge to the ground. The rouge looked up at Venompaw, swiping his claws at Venompaw and then slithering from underneath the tom. He tried to leap at Venompaw from behind,.

Tigerstripe watched as the apprentice accidentally alerted the bird that now flew off. "Don't worry, fishing is much easier." The tom said not that bothered although wishing he caught the bird for the clan.

Thunderstar snarled and snapped at the rogue's tail and yanked him backwards of balance and then brought a paw onto his face.

Oakpaw nodded and started to look hopeful again. He followed his mentor towards the lake. Once they arrived, he sat down by the bank and watched the water. He hadn't quite learned how to fish but he had seen his clanmates fish before and it didn't look that hard.

The rouge leaped back, feeling himself crash into Thunderstar, he felt trapped, pinned. Making a quick decision he ran, going across the border and leaving the group of three cats alone. Pensivecry looked at Thunderstar, then her Apprentice. "Good job, Venompaw." She mewed to the tom.
