Reveriepaw stared at her brother, unemotional as usual. "Love is futile." She mewe to him softly, before looking back to her other siblings. "Love is merely desperation of the heart." She added on to him, drawing her tail over her paws. "We shouldn't tell her."

Volantcry shook her head, "I know that, I want you to watch over him when you guys return back to DuskClan, I just want him safe."

She darted out and bounded over to a large rock on the riverbank, which was warm and the edges wet with foam from the river splashing by. She jumped onto the rock and purred softly, sweeping her tail over her paws. She looked below her, where a few inches from her nose, rushing water swirled in a fast current past her.

Echopaw looked at her. "But...she likes me too." He whispered.

Echostorm nodded. "If that ever happens..."

Thunderstorm shook his head. "No, no!"

She breathed heavily, every breath counting. She started coughing and step by step started to breathe normally.
(Look who is going to stay alive.) "Thunderstorm.." Her eyes searched for his as she pulled slightly closer to him, burying her head into his chest.

She weakly sighed, curling up next to him. Her breathing had gone back to normal, but she still felt quite cold. "I am sorry for getting you so worried.." She whispered, partly talking to her mate, partly to everyone around.
