Sageleaf sat down beside Ferretwhisker keeping her shadow out of the water. Her hand shoots into the water flickin a fish onto the shore.

Dawn noticed the cat knows she is here. She silently curses herself as she remains still. Her blue eyes peered out of the bush as the tiny cat got ready to spring. She knew she had to escape just at the right moment in order to get this right. Dawn froze as she heard the toms voice she stayed still and silent.

Rainsplash then managed to scoop a fish out and bit it with his paws satisfied.

Sunstar growled at the newcomer."don't try to run off. "

Malicepaw looked into the bushes, seeing the cats blue eyes. "Come out, come on, now. There's no use in running." Malicepaw told the she-cat, backing up a little so she could come out and reveal herself, he already took an interest in her since she was a female.

The she-cat looked over at the orange and white cat before back down at the water, paw shooting out to catch another fish which she missed, silently cursing to herself as she had been too quick and the fish avoided her. She waited a little longer and caught the next fish, once she had she pulled away with her prey to wait on the others to finish.

Rainsplash looked at the others and called. "You know this would be a good opportunity to remark our borders with Tornadoclan and Oceanckan in case they decide to make a move. "

Sunstar saw the smaller cat's blue eyes behind the bushes and awaited for them to exit their layer of cover. "Why are you on Sunclan territory, not stealing prey are you?". He questioned the intruder.

Sageleaf purred catching two more fish. She was happy to catch prey for her clan. "We did good! The clan will be eating well" she purred.

Scared was a unterstatment. Dawn was terrified, she inhales sharply deciding she had to come out. She stood up taking a bold step out into the clearing. Her blue eyes met Sunstars and Malicepaws gaze, as they pooled in fear. She hid her tremble as the tiny cat looked oddly like Sageleaf, like a mini Sageleaf. "I am nod stealing prey, I simply came to..." She cuts off closing her mouth realizing she wasn't spoken to directly.

He shook his black head. "She's skinny, probably doesn't know how to steal prey, probably can't even catch it, pitiful she-cat." He said under his breath. "Ey, she sorta looks like Sageleaf, don't you think?" Malicepaw mewed.

She nodded her head. "We can leave our prey here and come back for it on our way back, or we could take it with us if that's what you'd all prefer." Ferretwhisper piped up to the other cats, watching her Apprentice closely to assess him and his skills so far.

Sunstar looked at the small cat as they emerged. They resembled Sageleaf and looked a lot like her but this brought no sympathy in Sunstar's mind. As the cat started talking and then trailed off he twitched his ears annoyed. "Continue. " Sunstar nodded quietly to Malicepaw.

Rainsplash looked at them after catching another fish. "We should take it back now, wr don't want to chance it being stolen. "

Dawn stood up her ears flicking as she watched this new cat. He seemed so angry, so upset, so mean. Her blue eyes watched him warmly. She looked up at the other big cat nervously. "I am capable of hunting, bit stealing is wrong" she mews carfully. "I came looking for Sage..."

Sageleaf nods "Why don't we bring it back. I can hardly carry the prey I already caught by my self" she comment.

Rainsplash picked up his two fishes happy that there was more he looked at Sageleaf."Did you catch a bird? "

Sunstar looked at the kit and frowned. "How do you know Sageleaf" He still said in a hostile tone not convinced they weren't up to anything.

Malicepaw saw him look at her, his black fur bristled up, though he kept his calm demeanor, he was going to manipulate her one way or another, she was gentle, kind, trusting, an easy target if it would work. "Oh, dear, do you mean Sageleaf?" He spoke kindly, his eyes bright and excited for the newcomer, though it was just a fake put on.

The she-cat nodded her head, "alright, let's get going then." Once everyone had gathered up their prey she doing it as well, she began to lead the way back into the forest and towards camp, knowing that they would be able to eat well for awhile.
