juniperpaw followed behind the group of cats as they headed out for the hunting spot. he had been recently working on his stalking skills and he was eager to put them to good use. when they finally arrived, he let the comforting smells of forest bathe his tongue, trying to catch the scent of prey in the air.

Sageleaf instantly caught wind of a bird. She crouched down into the stalk position creeping up to the bird. She sprung as the bird took flight. She swiftly pulled it down and snapped it neck. She smiled up burrying her prey and decided to fish.

Dawn watched a few cats slyly hiding behind a bush. She watched a large cat and a small cat talking, they didn seem happy. She was hungry and wanted to know how to hunt so she watched. She didn't notice the change of wind, so her scent began blowing directly towards the cats. ~tagged|Sunstar & Malicepaw

He nodded and crouched down, catching wind of the prey he slowly crept forward towards the brush, it wasn't very dense so he knew he'd be able to catch the prey. He let his bright eyes wander and finally caught sight of the animal, he leaped, pouncing on top of it and snapping its neck with ease, presenting it to his Mentor.

The she-cat went to the waters edge. She held out her paw, making sure her shadow didn't dwell onto the water and slightly leaned forward over the river, watching fish swim by. She quickly struck the water with her paw, sending a fish flying out of the river she pounced on it, killing it quickly.

juniperpaw decided to begin his hunt my the water, making his way carefully yet quickly up the wet stones. he found the perfect spot, and rested his belly on the cold stone, watching the rippling water for a sign of movement to indicate a fish. out of the corner of his eye, juniperpaw saw the flash of scales, and his paw darted forwards hastily. he felt his claw hook into the creature before pulling out a reasonable sized fish, which he quickly delivered a killing bite, and laid proudly on the rock beside him.

Sunstar nodded at the mouse which was easily killed and suddenly smelt a new scent and he unsheathed his claws and looked around. He was not exactly kind to strangers.

Rainsplash bent down watching the fish swim past before carefully placing a paw in and aiming for one.

His jaw dropped again, tasting the air, he smelled the intruder before Sunstar and his black fur raised, looking around and finally pinpointing where she was located. "Step out, now, reveal yourself." He voiced loudly, his voice was serious and cold, booming around the area.

She looked to her companions, though mostly watched Juniperpaw, watching her Apprentice catch a fish she nodded and gave a small praise to him before going back to hunting, she figured after two or three fish she'd stop so she'd be able to carry it all.
