I heard a huff beside me and I smiled. Maybe he did like me. I moved a bit closer my back touching Gingerheart's and I fell asleep.

Gingerheart stiffened at the touch, but didn't move away like he usually would have. He looked at her and gave a soft smile at how peaceful she looked. He gave her ear a quick lick before curling up and drifting off to dreamland himself.

I opened my eyes and sat up slowly my limbs screaming at me to go back to sleep. I looked around me, and Gingerheart was sleeping there as well. I smiled and looked out of camp to watch the sun rise, and wait for Gingerheart to wake up himself.

Gingerheart only woke up because he was suddenly cold. He looked around, trying to find Nightpool, until he realized she must have already woken up. He stood and stretched before following her scent and came up behind her.

Echoblaze licked his mate's cheek and looked at the leader. "I did not expect this."

Gingerheart felt like he was on fire from embarrassment. "Morning," he huffed, not in the mood to say anything else. He was not a morning person.
