Ivycloud nodded, Kestrelclaw always had a nice way to put things. "I'm going to bring Smudgekit back to the nursery, I'll be right back." Ivycloud told Kestrelclaw and started back to camp.

(I'd like that! They seem like they'd get along pretty well >w<)

"Larkpaw?" Cinderpaw lay down beside her and batted her ear gently with a paw. "Come on, Larkpaw, answer me. Do you need to go see Leopardtail again?"

Kestrelclaw nodded in reply and sat down, waiting patiently for Ivycloud.

Ivycloud brought Smudgekit to the nursery. She set her down next to her mother and raced back to Kestrelclaw.

Larkpaw hissed at her friend. She pawed the nick in her ear and sighed.

[Cradily]

Kestrelclaw stood up when Ivycloud returned and led her back to the tree that they had been digging at just minutes before. When they got there, he dug for a few more minutes before finally uncovering a small, dark hole underneath the roots of the tree. "Ah-ha! Here it is!" The hole was just barely big enough for a cat to fit in. "C'mon, le's go!" He squeezed through the hole and disappeared into the blackness on the other side.

Cinderpaw was taken aback by Larkpaw's sudden aggression towards her, but she couldn't help but break into a purr a moment later. "Well, you must be feeling at least sort of alright! You're still as feisty as ever." She rolled over onto her back and pawed Larkpaw's face playfully.

(Gotta go, bye!)

Ivycloud didn't like the thought of being trapped underground. She remembered the story about Hollyleaf that the elders told. She pushed it out of her mind and went in after Kestrelclaw.

Kestrelclaw padded leisurely through the narrow tunnel. His whiskers brushed against the earthy walls, helping to guide him along through the darkness. Eventually the tunnel began to widen out more and it became harder for Kestrelclaw to feel his way through the underground with his whiskers, but that was okay, because his eyes had started to grow used to the darkness.

Ivycloud had to blink a few times to get her eyes used to the darkness. She just followed Kestrelclaw. "Where are we?" She murmured to him curiously.
