"Cinderpaw,tell Krestelclaw I'm in here" he meowed weakly to her

"Thanks!" Maplefur replied. He buried his mouse in the dirt to pick it up later.

[Cradily]

"You're quite welcome," Milkflower meowed. "Shall we hunt more, or make our way back to camp now? I do wish we could find a dove before we left..." She searched the trees longingly for any sign of the pure white bird she so wanted to catch.

Cinderpaw nodded. "Kestrelclaw! Sootpaw's in here!" she called to the tom.
Kestrelclaw pricked up his ears and turned his attention to the medicine cat's den. He padded in and tilted his head curiously. "Sootpaw? You okay, bud?" He looked at Cinderpaw. "What happened?"
Cinderpaw took a deep breath as she began to explain. "We...we kind of left the camp without you or Specklepelt...or any other warrior...We just wanted to go fishing and hunting and stuff, but then Sootpaw ran into a tree while hunting a squirrel and he hit his head and went unconscious and I had to carry him back here on my back and I was worried that the tree might have killed him-" She paused to take in a breath of air after talking so much. "But then Duckpaw and Leopardtail took care of him so he's better now!"
Kestrelclaw blinked, trying to take in everything that the little gray she-cat had just said. "Akaaay...Well, you two should know better than to go out by yaselves. Next time, let one o' the warriors know b'fore you leave camp, got it?" He fixed both of the apprentices with a stern gaze.
Cinderpaw ducked her head in embarrassment. "Yes, Kestrelclaw...Sorry."
"It's a'ight, I'm not mad," Kestrelclaw replied. "I just don' want anyone gettin' hurt." He turned to Sootpaw. "It looks like you're a'ready sorta hurt though, so we'll skip training t'day and let you rest a while."

(By the way, the first part of Kestrelclaw's name is "Kestrel", not "Krestel" xD Kestrel is a type of bird. Hope I don't come off as rude or fussy or anything, 'cause I'm not trying to. I just thought I'd let you know. ^^)

"If they do that then the kits will sure to follow then. Can't have that." she meowed sternly.

Moonstar leapt down, singling the end of the Gathering. He padded around, looking for Batfang.

[Cradily]

"We most certainly can't," Mallowshade said. She turned to watch as Kestrelclaw made his way into the medicine cat's den and began speaking indistinctly to the two apprentices inside. "Looks like Kestrelclaw's giving them a good scolding. Hopefully they've learned their lesson."

Batfang lay down in the crook of a tree, up high on a thick branch. He clawed the bark beneath his paws angrily.

Leopardtail agreed with Kestrelclaw "Sootpaw needs his rest, now all those who are not injured, and my apprentice, leave the den." she purred.

Specklepelt sighed "What shall I do? Cinderpaw has to be bored now.. and I have to keep her out of trouble." she looked at Mallowshade "Any ideas?"

Moonstar followed Batfang's scent. He scaled the tree, keeping his claws in firmly, pulling himself onto the branch. He sat beside the cat. "Batfang." He mewed in greeting, staring out over the horizon instead of his friend.

[Cradily]

"A'ight, a'ight, I'm goin'," Kestrelclaw laughed as he exited the den. Cinderpaw followed, her tail dragging in the dirt with shame.

Mallowshade shrugged. "Dunno. Maybe she'd like to do some training?"

Batfang stopped his clawing and turned to look at his leader. "Oh, hello, Moonstar," he meowed casually.

"She could work on her fishing, she just needs to learn to be more patient with them." she chuckled "Shes a great fighter and could learn a few more moves but she gets them pretty quickly." Specklepelt thought out loud.
